I personally like using them. Ive been using them more to flank and help provide suppression and harass. Using the clasic L shape ambush, pincer movement or to keep them away from certain areas that i dont want the enemy troops to go.

I will also buy one, but I'm pretty salty that a unit like the AA-5 gets a toooon of pilots, crew and other option to buff other units around them, and our SUPPORT platform only gets one pilot option that increases the fire support's potency...

I have the toy version of this bad boy. The Star Wars Hasbro Swamp Speeder from 2010. With two AT-RT drivers piloting the vehicle. When I get my copy of this bad boy, I might kit bash mine with AT-RT drivers.

I'm picking one up :)) I like the idea of running these alongside BARCs with sniper strike teams and Phase IIs. Would be interesting to see how that'd go. Could even have a LAAT/LE with Fives in it for insane alpha strike potential, add Hound & Grizzer and delete anything in 1 shot.

You are making a pretty big deal about nothing with the weapon point costs. If the ISP was 85 and the weapons were all 20 it would be the same except the base vehicle would be even worse. If the base vehicle was 55 and the weapons were all 50 that would be even better.

These vehicles are just set ups for fire support. I cant wait to see it in my 1600 pt games. B1s are going to be melting

I dont see the problem in the points. I think 105points isnt that bad. If you take 2of them at 210ish or 230point you got a fast supporting heavy option for the price of 1AAT. And if you are against a wide army of droids you could mow them down very fast. While still having enough points to put into a more wide build. For clones it's a nice fresh breath to get this option to build lists with more modelcount. Along with the forcepower to move cover and forcepush I think beam can get more viable. I dont think it will be tip tier in competative, but neither do I think it will totally suck for casual.

I think this just need to decrease the points on the weapon alittle but over all it does what it mentions to be a support platform for both thanks a troops as using this it help to deal with hard or single units. But a more pilots or a feld commander would be nices

Personally I have had a lot of luck with the twin laser cannons, the massive attack pools while fire supporting with a z6 have killed maul in a matter of 2 turns. This guy is just a cheap impromptu tank that my enemies have to focus hard for a few turns.

Rotary Blaster is 5 black dice. I think you're underestimating the value of Gunslinger. It isn't just being able to pick off wounded units but have the ability to fire support 2 shots on one unit. Which in this wookie melee meta has a lot of value.

armor 3 and cover 1 is very tanky
