It's funny I was listening to old music and this popped in again while I'm working right now, and I legit thought it was some kind of experimental synth band from the 70s. I looked it up right now to check who it was, thinking it was really good, and there it was. Glad I hit that like button last time, great great stuff!

So extremely nice to hear - thank you! I am really deep in Ableton right now working on an EP and it feels like I am hitting some creative blocks. Your comment notification made this video pop up and reminded me to record in some auto generative OP-Z layers, even if only for textural interest. Haha the 70s vibes are probably just proof that this track is a conceptual Brian Eno rip off but it was sure fun to record. Thanks again!

Haha takk! In all seriousness would love some critical feedback since you have been following for a while. Should I continue stuff more in this direction, or like the other earlier spoken tutorials, or a combination somehow? I am really unsure what people find most helpful or most enjoyable.

@@RDiefenbach Damn I wrote a long response but then Chrome crashed. Main points were: - you're good at both non-vocal and vocal content, so it's up to what you want to be - personality KZfaqr or visual KZfaqr. - e.g Red Means recording started as music content with great production value then added more of himself as he got more comfortable with it. You're already comfortable and convey yourself properly so it's up to you. - keep the outdoor look to the extent that you can, it adds a zen vibe to your videos.

I missed this one, very cool! I don't own an OPZ but I'm sure I can use this info in some ways with my gear!

Any kit with custom track lengths can appropriate this - if there are randomness or probability functions, even better!

Very cool, thanks! Will try it as well. Maybe also post some videos where you create those patterns from the ground up 👍

Thanks! I have one that I mention in the video that covers random spark components etc. - I mostly walk through building everything from scratch there: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/oJahnMSGvaypp3U.html

This is awesome and so relaxing. Great work mate! 👏 OP-Z really grew when it comes to sounddesign with all the new features they added. Did you already try it along with the Digitone? :)
@RDiefenbach3 жыл бұрын
Danke! I have tried it with the Digitone but it took a backseat because I want to use the Blackbox more while I am borrowing it instead that has been the main companion for the Digitone. Vids coming soon ;)

@@RDiefenbach Yeah that sounds interesting as well! Looking forward to that :)
