in this video lecture we discussed another application of gauss law.i.e. Electric field due to infinite sheet of charge.Before this we briefly discussed in previous lectures what is Gauss law, gauss law first application which state that under electrostatic equilibrium charge resides on outer surface of conductor.Now in this video lecture we discussed, derived Electric field intensity due to infinite sheet of charge.we draw a gaussian surface in the form of cylinder and use gauss law to calculate the Total Flux and hence the electric field intensity.
