Really helpful video. It works for me. The JP jump for the league battle is insane once you hit fast league. With this glitch, it really helps me to be hooked up in this game for awhile more longer. Keep up the good work!

Android devices work for this method cuz I used it before this vid was up ;) Although what I noticed with your charizard is that you set its cool down to 30ish hours instead of 12, so if you don't time travel right then stuff like that happens. Myself, I've had a glitch where no food would spawn, EVER. I fixed it by simply traveling forwards a few days and went back to present time without claiming anything. So if any of y'all have problems, that's how u most likely fix me :D

Food is a great way of leveling up if you're not time-travelling. If you're using SUPER-Training, then investing in training is better.

no food is spawning now and getting 'Magikarp Jump' crashed when switching to Date and Time settings. got me up from Rank 25-29 in about 15 minutes. But not working now

Personally, I wouldn't do this. I like to play fair & work honestly to raise my karps. My trainer rank is 22 & to be honest, I kind of played a little dirty to get it there. I've been trying different tactics to raise my rank faster because it's frustrating when a maxed out Magikarp isn't strong enough to make it past a certain point & all that. It feels like you just need to go through the steps & get your rank up at a regular rate, like there's very few things to accelerate your rank. I already have the Whimsicott decoration, I barely notice the difference. I have been purposely taking lame Magikarp on the first cast because I want to save my diamonds, they're pretty easy to retire early & I gained experience from messing up so I happily took it. Yeah.... I purposely slaughter Magikarp for more experience, you all know my secret now. Hey, I currently have a shiny & I plan to take that one all the way to retirement the right way. Also, I didn't kill the one I had previously, I simply evolved her into Gyarados because I felt like breaking the everstone.

1991birthday Purposely slaughtering Magikarp is fine. There are achievements for forcing a certain number of Magikarp to retire and there's even a button within the game that triggers it after a certain number of trainings. Finally, you don't need to mess with settings outside of the game to do it.

Thank goodness someone agrees with my dark methods, I felt so horrible with what I did to my Magikarp from purposely letting a Pidgeotto take one of them to letting a Voltorb explode Timmy. I remember Timmy real well because he was a go getter, I scolded him for being lazy & I get an extra training point in the process. Poor guy just wanted to impress me & I purposely got him blown up. Oh well, I got Monday after that & evolved her which followed with me getting McNugget, my shiny Magikarp & she's still with me so good came out of it. I really don't like paying diamonds for getting another Magikarp & getting rid of your current one is as easy as jumping up out of the pond enough times & getting it eaten by Pidgeotto. I'm aiming for different early retirement methods each time so of course I'm not going to constantly do that.

1991birthday Ahahaha....Timmy sounds like my AbdallahKarp. I was going to feed him to a Pidgeotto so Parfait might have some company, but instead he snatched the berry before it came and leveled up five times before flailing the sandbag off of its chain and leveling up some more. The little show off! :p I rewarded his stunt with a Voltorb disguised as a Pokeball, haha. But then I did start to feel just a wee bit guilty and was going to name his successor after him so that one could retire to Magikarp Heaven in the depths of my pond. But the successor ended up being a she! So I named her DollykarpJr and then she ended up being a shiny! So now I'm wondering if sacrificing them increases your odds of catching a shiny... I'm also wondering if the Time Travelers are having this much fun with their games. :p Most of them have probably finished the leagues by now.

You know, it could help. If it increases the odds of getting a shiny, I feel less guilty about sacrificing them. It's all for the shiny. McNugget, my shiny Magikarp finally retired which was so sad, I wanted to hold onto her longer. Guppy is the next one & he's doing alright, not bad enough for me to sacrifice him & he's got some personality. He's already close to retiring himself & he leveled pretty quickly too. Also, your Magikarp does sound a lot like Timmy & they even met the same fate. I miss the little booger but he died for a good cause, it eventually led to my shiny.

Actually, when you get the option to scold magikarp or not, you should because you end up getting through to your magikarp and you actually get all 3 training points back.

Thank you for this tutorial video. I think that it can certainly be a good thing, especially for the people who don't get that much time to play the game. I personally won't be using that method to rank up my magikarps. Can't wait for the next Magikarp Jump livestream.

A little tip if you leave your majikarp while training for a couple of seconds and don't click anything (especially for dwebble push or sandbag slam) you get a greater chance at JP.. Tried it myself P.S in dwebble dont click anything until the dwebble reaches almost the end of the screen... Trust Me

Since you ask, what I use my coins for is to save for later berries/Trainings just so I have the money, tho I do at least make sure the new one is at Rank 5 aside from the beginning berries which I slowly work up to rank 25 but only the oran and sitrus berries.

It works on my Android, but I must disable clock sync with any server. Also, on the Slacker Magikarp, alway scold it. It gives you back 3 training sessions if it works, if it doesn't, it goes away to sulk, but you don't lose it.

Also my tip is to only try the pigeotto one if you just got the Magikarp since this the only kinda good one unless you want money and risk it on the poke ball event.

also, you should always go for the events. yes, you can lose your magikarp, but you'll get a new one and level it up to where your last one was, you get achievements for losing magikarps, and you get trainer experience points and a 10% boost each time you get a new one, which makes it easier and easier to level them up faster. plus, if it works out, you win stuff.

When I sped up the time my training buddies got stuck in that time zone even when I moved the time back. Now it says I have to wait 28293 hours to use their skills when in the regular time.. Also for some reason in regular time the app says that my time is set incorrectly. ?? Does anyone know how to fix this? Idk if skill restores would fix the problem.

I think it was worth a mention in the video that if you do this too many times or set yourself too far forward, you run the risk of not having food spawn. Of course, you can simply retire your magikarp and food will spawn again.

When your magikarp gets snatched by a pidgeotto or gets blown up by votorb (I forgot the name) mayor karp will give you some exp which is quite useful to be fair

You can also kill Magikarp if you tapp above the pool, and make it jump repeatedly a pidgeot will swoop down if you do it too many times i found out the hard way ; o ;

i leveled my sandback slam to lv 50 and it gives me tons and tons of JP got 200K of a good effort which is huge (my karp had +200%JP of training) im leveling 1 training at a time so i have always the best chance to get the huge JP boost. and yes it was worth it to not buy the other trainings. since i have a 50% change of getting sandback slam a single sandbag slam amazing effort gives enough JP to max level it after just 1 training (over 600K JP)

The magikarps I had in the quick league: 1.) Mmmm... was my first calico magikarp. Too bad a pidgeotto thought it looked tasty 2.) Mmmm.... Jr was a golden calico. She did twice as many league battles as her previous karp, but it wasn't enough to win. She retired at the eigth battle 3.) M'lady was a skelly magikarp, and she took the glory title. She won the first nine games easily. But the FINAL GODAMN QUICK LEAGE KARP BEAT ME BY TWO POINTS 4.) M'average was just a boring old magikarp. That's all there was to her

if you change the time back and you have to wait longer than 30 min for one training just use the training item thing to get back on 3 stacks and after u trained now its back on 30 min per stack. also if you dont get any more food after you went back to normal time just retire your current magikarp after that you get food again. if any 1 knows how to get rid of the message that warns me to change the time would be nice if you could tell me that.
