In this video, we show how to disassemble the dashboard of Infiniti G37 G35 G 37S 2009-2013 without factory navigation and install the GROM VLine VL2 system for wireless CarPlay® and Android Auto® integration into the factory car stereo.

Definitely should unplug battery in the procedure!! I blew 2 fuses leaving it connected

@@AlphaMoneyGuy yeah bro I don't have the exact number but it was the audio fuse under the hood by the battery and the GPS fuse under the driver side.

I have a 2013 infiniti Sedan G37x but doesn't have navigation system....It only has radio,auxiliary,settings and couple more stuff other than navigation.....Can I just swap the the one i have for a navigation system one......Is the wires and harness are the same?

To replace the factory stereo fully to the one with navigation, it is possible, but will probably require additional adaptation into the existing sound and electrical system, as well as climate controls. We recommend to consult local car stereo professional.

Do you get an air bag code if you remove the climate control panel connectors?

You might get an air bag light on by accident. We recommend unplugging the battery for the unprofessional installers.

Very nice job! Just a few quick question before investing into the product. Although it is android based, would I still be able to 1)Access the original Infiniti screen; 2)Use the stock usb in my center console 3)use my iPhone X with this android based unit? Thanks for your help Grom Audio!!

GROM Audio WOW I’m truly exciting about it. awesome! Thanks for the speedy response. I didn’t realize I had other points I was questioning as well. Hope you don’t mind answering. -I have a 2013 Infiniti G37x Sedan (No Navigation) I see you include a AV backup camera and front facing. Should I not worry about any wires or issues considering I already have a Factory backup camera on my car?

@@DrippDroppz If you already have the factory backup camera in the car, you do not have to install the one that we offer. Backup camera is not a part of VLine package and it is sold separately. Your factory backup camera will not be affected with the installation of VLine Infotainment system.

So my radio works. Screen works but the lights dont light up anymore , is there a fix for this? The purple lights are off now and the white lights on the buttons dont light up anymore as well as the clock. What could this be?

Not sure if we fully understand your question. To get the CarPlay in 2013 G37 sedan, you will need the GROM VLite VT2 system. Please check here: gromaudio.com/store/vlite/grom-vt2-nisk.html With GROM VLite VT2 system you can use CarPlay wired via USB, or wireless via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connection.

I ordered this for my 2011 G37x no nav sedan and my LCD only had one connector. In this video the LCD has many connectors. I need help. I also ordered the additional touch screen attachment.
