When you went to the other side of the car and it wasn’t moving it was like a horror movie props to you sir for doing the absolute best and showing every single step

Thanks. The repair took a very long time. I was very confused as to what issue was lol but that's what can happen what repair is done by a shady shop or a clueless DIYer who forgets to put back same amount of bolt or washers that were removed lol

This was excellent. Totally understood what to do from start to finish. Took the time to figure out that it was for sure a caliper gone bad straight through describing the importance of the washers onto keeping fluid full as you remove and install. I wish all KZfaq mechanics would learn from this video while teaching how to "Not" just assume we already know what to expect or to look for as we go. TY!

To Get Those Bolts In And Out I Think You Just Have To Turn The Steering Wheel

Does the car need to be on to bleed? Replacing both rear calipers today because one was seized, already did the brakes and rotors on the others
@PZPal Жыл бұрын
It does not need to be on to bleed. From what I remember, I decided not to bleed it because I quickly changed out calipers while the connector was leaking fluid, so I don’t think any air got into the system.

@@PZPal gotcha that makes sense so even when you compress the piston no air got in? Or is it because you pre filled the new caliper as well?
@PZPal Жыл бұрын
Yeah, I normally prefill them and then quickly change them out. That way amount of air that could get there is very minimal. I never had issues with that way of installing them, but I am sure proper way is to follow up with bleeding procedure.
