This video is a collection of every time we see the passenger transportation pods on screen. This includes a very brief scene with Tulip, scenes with Amelia's modified pod, and the various pods shown in Book 2.

“Fun fact: The tape car is the only car where the universe is projected on the outside!” This seemed like such a random throw away line that it stuck out to me. Then I realized. Each car has its own separate microcosm universe inside it. The tape car’s is OUTSIDE the car; as in, the wastelands, the train, everything is the tape car.

Yea, literally the universe itself is the tape car, since tapes show a person’s memories of all their most important and life changing experiences, they are ALWAYS in the tape car, which is a really cool concept that was made into a quick line

Spoilers of Book 1: Maybe she stole it from somewhere else. I think she (like a normal passenger would), got out of her pod and then she explored the train. At some point, she ended up at the engine and asked One-One to make her a car, and he refused. Anyway, I think that's not her pod. Maybe she got it from the tape car or from another passenger and used it to go through the cars.

It’s the conductor. Tulip did not have a pod because one one was not the conductor at the time.

@@loganmorgan3722 Not true. For one, it doesn't really look like Amelia (it looks like just a pod), and pods have clearly always been a large part of getting on the train. Amelia got on via. a pod, then transformed her pod into a mech suit.

He probably did have a number. Why would the pod have been moving away from The Number Car if he didn't? Though, it is unknown what happened. It's possible he fell off, to be wheeled or consumed by ghoms. It's also possible he found a safe way down and into one of the cars.

I don’t get why Tulip’s pod was so far away from her in the beginning. all other passengers we’ve seen arrive (Jesse and the lunch lady) woke up still in their pods, I can’t make sense of her not being inside of it.

Jesse and the Lunch Lady were examples after One-One took back control of the train. When Tulip arrived Amelia was in control. So it's likely Amelia had all the trains bots focus on her individual goals that the pods for other passengers were mostly automatic.

Aromaseraphy Lavender I mean I guess that could be it but idk, the only thing we’ve seen pods do is bring in passengers and take them to their cars, Amelia does use one as her suit but it’s her own, she doesn’t need any others. but I guess it is the most believable theory other than “they didn’t want Tulip to wake up in her pod so the reveal would be cooler”

@@AndreOliveira-wm2hb well outside on the universe of the story yeah that's exactly why. For all we know, the pods post book 2 do fly off as well. But only after the passenger leaves themselves.

@@AndreOliveira-wm2hb It’s not only a very cool reveal, but the reason the passengers woke up in their pods was because One-One made a documentary for them to watch. That documentary didn’t exist while Tulip, Grace, and Simon woke up on the train the first time. Notice how Jesse’s lunch lady, Jesse and anyone after One-One took over again knew that they had to get their numbers down while Tulip, Grace, and Simon didn’t?

Can we talk about the fact that Amelia’s robot grew smaller as we saw it. It was towering over Tulip and the Sterwardess in season 1, but barely taller than a younger Grace in season 3.

So we're all just gonna ignore how MT/Lake just doomed that old fella to death by leaving him atop that car? Cause we all know what happened to Mace, he was supposed to be incredibly durable, that old man is just plain glass in comparison. Though that can go to her characters benefit, she is not a good guy or a bad guy, she's just selfish and driven in her goals. That and she's been on the run ever since she got out of the mirror, so I can understand why she is as indifferent as she is! (Selfish people have friends too, tend to be rather toxic but if close enough they can be loyal friends)

They initially planned if infinity train continued to do a series where they ask: “What if someone with dementia got on the train?” And I think maybe… this was supposed to be our future protag. It’s a old, scared, confused man who not only has no idea what’s going on, but also is a interesting plot point the show glosses over. Unless he would have became the protagonist.

So did one one not have recorded messages in the pods before Tulip (i know he mentioned tulip and atticus, so i guess not, but why wouldn't he have thought about that before?) If he did, how come Tulip didn't remember the messages? How did Tulip get so far away from her pod? Did one one change the way pods work to make sure there couldn't be other cases like Amelia's? Why did the pod drop tulip off and leave, but stayed for the lunch lady?? SO MANY QUESTIONS.

I think the problem with blowing it up is that it is heavily militarised - it has giant reinforced steel plating, giant guns for who knows what, and the steward... But I’d be lying if I said that I didn’t want a book following a protagonist bent on destroying the train
