How did you select just the outline? after applying the remesh modifier. When I am doing the select sharp edge, all the edges are getting selected and not just the outline of the text.

Are you going into edit mode first? And then make sure you don't have anything selected in edit mode when you go to "Select sharp edges"

Awesome! Are there any special instructions for inflating a word rather than individual texts?

Since this is a cloth simulation, everything is individual. To avoid artifacts and other problems with the simulation, it is better to make letters separately

For me it starts making spikes pop up everywhere rather than inflate for some reason, it worked on the letter O, but i couldn't get it to work on L OR F and any letter since. Any idea why if you know? im on 4.0 btw

A lot depends on the font you chose, perhaps the size of the letter had a big impact, bad topology, inappropriate simulation values. As you can see there can be many reasons

What font are you using? Does it matter which type of font?

Well, it's a Montserrat font. Yeah, the type of font makes sense. The stricter, bigger and looser the font the better. I haven't personally tried it, but if the font was artistic, it probably wouldn't work

Thanks,it's hard to say, in some ways the cloth simulation is unique. It could be from font, letter size or other simulation parameters. There is no definite answer

Mine was exploding also. I did mine from a modeled character, not from a font. I figured since convert to mesh is used, maybe it would work fine. By the end it only worked when I brought pressure down by 10 factor. Left at 100. Worked perfectly.

You may have done something wrong. Also do not forget that the simulation of the fabric depends very much on the number of polygons and the size of the object. By the way, I have a 1050

Watch out to size, if you scale your letter before the whole calculation is a mess. I got a similar problem, going to 90GB simulation until I figured that out
