hi have an informational interview, but I'm confused because based on my research, an info interview is something I initiate with someone I want to aspire to be, but this is an interview with HR director that the company initiated with me. can someone tell me what is going on.

If I have a long-distance informational interview over Skype, can I wear a tie and blazer but no pants...since they're only going to be looking at the top portion anyway?
