I definitely agree with you there I'm also only running them on the rear axle, and I have also not been impressed with most of this stuff for the 1/10 scale I got lots of brass parts to fit to my 1/10 scale rigs which is one of the things they do okay. And yes I also think the products they've made for the trx4m's are a bit better quality than most of their products used to be. But once again I don't understand why produce parts like the flex blades. Instead of just trying to keep up with all the other manufacturers make parts that actually do upgrade the vehicle and not hit the performance like this upgrade does. So far I still think you're better off just throwing the reduction gears a set of rims and tires he's more than enough to get the performance a person wants out of the vehicle. Everything else just starts hitting the overall performance as it's getting too heavy. I truly appreciate you subscribing and thank you very much for watching and commenting 🤜💥🤛

Iran mine with only the rears for a while but still noticed that it performed better with out them! I still run the rears on one of the tarantula builds and my son likes it like that ✌️😉

Dude I tried many set-ups on the front exel but regardless of how it was set up the angle on the drive shaft is just too much and causes binding when the suspension is stretched out, besides that it can climb anything, it just rolls over I spent many days changing the setup on my Bronco and the best setup is just removing the front Flex blades and removing the top rear one and it now performs ok I am quite happy with my setup as it is now. This front regardless of changing the arms around it doesn't look good and you still have the same group which stole causes the problem with the drive shaft in the front. Which is just a problem waiting to give broken gears or drive shaft. I truly appreciate your comment And thank you very much for watching ✌️

It's the one thing that annoys me about the 11 kg cordless servo The fact that the cable comes out the front side closing it to catch on the bumper mount. Why not just make it come out the top like the original. And even the upgraded version of the mount still has the same issue if you don't fold the rubber boot and cable over the top of the servo and stick it down with a bit of super glue. Very annoying indeed that's why I prefer the new lay down Servo setup.

Yes and then you won't be able to go anywhere as the front bumper already catches on everything.

I installed low profile front and rear bumpers they sell on etsy. They're a excellent investment

Definitely great for style and for big obstacles on flat surfaces for sure but way too many complications for it to be worth it. You could spend hours trying to sort it all out with limiting straps and everything but at the end of the day with less Flex you will still get through the same obstacles and you know what you end up having more fun. By pushing the wheels out further you are causing them to travel even more, causing more rubbing And I really don't want to push my wheels out more as I am going to lose the realistic look. I really appreciate you watching and commenting bro 🤜💥🤛

I'm just running the Injora stainless steel drive shafts. What makes all the difference is the high-clearance links! Put two of their spaces on the upper links that helps usually for the angles on the drive shaft! Allowing for a bit more travel on the front axle.

It definitely works better on the original chassis then on the LCG CHASSIS But still not an upgrade that I recommend if you like the scale look ‼️ Bro I always appreciate you watching and commenting 🤜💥🤛

I will try and do a running video of the Bronco just running the rear Flex Blades, and I won't remove the flex blades from the defender, so we can see how they behave. Hi bro, no the Jeep body is only compatible with the chassis from the defender and bronco. The High Trails chassis is 2 cm longer. So the Jeep body nor defender or Bronco will fit on it.

I honestly thought I was missing out on something, so I thought I would give the flics blades a shot and they did exactly what I thought they would do to the overall performance of Rig But I had to test it for myself to see if a lot of the other videos I have seen we're honest and clearly I must have done something wrong as I really thought they just hit the overall performance so hard. Hey bro, I am running the 1.0 offset metal stamped Rims from Injora www.injora.com/products/4pcs-1-0-negative-offset-3-78mm-stamped-steel-beadlock-wheel-rims-for-axial-scx24 and there 56mm Injora crawler tires www.injora.com/products/injora-1-0-56-22mm-soft-rubber-wheel-tires-56-22mm-rock-terrain-for-axial-scx24

You can do that, but then you are just using them to change the shock position and you're not actually using them as Flex blades! For that I would recommend just buying the aftermarket shock towers which have multiple positions for you to position your shocks to get better articulation. I have tried the flex blades in every different manner and I really don't recommend them. They never increase the performance!! they just hit the performance really hard.

@@jbsir1 well I am only running the rear bottom Flex blades on the back, still not fully happy but its much better than running it with the upper Flex blades. So I'm sure you'll be fine, hopefully soon I'll get the 59 mm shocks and we'll give them a try without Flex blades, so we can see if we get the same amount of flex.

This is simply untrue. Well it’s true you moved your shocks and got more “flecks” but the rest is not accurate. The trx4ms are superior from suspension to motor. I have them all and you can also find a dozen comparison videos on here when they came out being tested against each other in all sorts of configurations.

Bro when you running a heavy hardbody like that with all the accessories, it's going to make the torque twist even worse. Could definitely tighten the rear shock and try and find even harder spring, but I don't see the point in it as it also lost its scale looks. Besides the torque twist there are so many other issues the flex blades bring, that I really don't think they worth the upgrade. I will play around with it a bit today and I will let you know what works best to reduce the torque twist. Thanks for watching and commenting 🤜🤛

@@Icys_engines I think you're doing the right choice rather go for the 59mm shocks that just came out I'm sure you'll get more than enough Flex I spend lots of time on the Bronco trying to get the best out of the flex blades, and it really wasn't worth my time.

Look if you building a comp crawler then it is a good set-up but running a heavy body with those flex blades is not a good idea, and it takes away the scale look.
