Injustice Superman shows why superman’s character is so important. The original Superman is someone with self-control, humility and empathy when you take those things away you have someone with power but without any control and that causes corruption of self and destruction among living creatures. This is why I love superman he knows himself and understands that whilst his power is limitless he has limits in how he can use it. Superman isn’t a boring character and what this video shows is that superman can be his own worst enemy.

This is the first time I’ve ever seen Superman lose his patience with a villain. He’s dealt with Luthor, Doomsday, Brainiac, and Zod among others. But here he’s legitimately angry and disappointed at Injustice Superman, like an angry father. You killed millions of people and enslaved an entire planet. Fuck whatever “loss” you felt. I’m taking you down.

I absolutely love the voice acting in this scene. Same actor but the difference in vocal inflection gives good Superman a noble heroic vibe and evil Superman an evil tyrannical vibe

The way that Injustice Superman talks about Lois, it doesn't even sound like he views her as a person anymore, he views her as an object, something that "belonged" to him and something he's owed.

Something I really like about Good Superman. He's just a good dude. He wants to be helpful, no matter what. My favorite element of Superman's characterization is that Thomas Kent dies of natural causes. There was nothing Clark could do and he has to comes to terms with it.

That interaction between Prime Superman and Regime Superman is so underrated.

This is the best and the most emotional cutscene with intense drama that I’ve ever seen 0:19, why doesn’t DC make an Animated DC Original film adaptation of this one?

The best moment of this whole fight is the end when good Superman is finishing Regime Superman. Because at that moment you see him lose his cool for just a second as he's laying the beat down on Regime Superman. For just a second he allows a little bit of rage to slip in because I think he's horrified and enraged to see what he has become.

In my mind, Regime Superman was still under the effects of the Jokers modifed fear toxin when he started down this path. He might not have been seeing doomsday but his mind was now ripe to see only the despair where he once saw hope.

I just realized something, (and I feel a little stupid for now realizing it since I played the game like a year or so ago). The decision, even after that Lois and Baby Kent incident, was NEVER Bad Superman's in the first place. He was ALWAYS a weapon of mass destruction after Alternate Joker, (I would say Bad Joker but that wouldn't make sense), turned him into a WMD, therefore the decision was always Joker's. He was just the lingering effect of Joker's actions; he was...chaos.

Would've been cool to see a more extended cutscene fight between them, but oh well

Having Superman as the final chapter was probably the best choice for Netherrealm. He's supposed to be a symbol of hope, hence the S which is Kryptonian for that. Hope.

Just watched the sneak peak of the Injustice movie and found myself appreciating the duality of the two supermans. Like George Newbern did a SPECTACULAR job of having the same person be portrayed from two different perspectives. I really wish he was in the Movie adaptation.

This game showed me that in order for someone to truly be a hero, they must think about what they can do to protect people rather than what they can do to get rid of criminals. When Superman killed the Joker, all he was thinking about was the fact that he never wanted anything like what the Joker did to happen again. He killed the Joker which made him realize that this was the best way for him to get rid of crime. He created the one earth government so that he could have ultimate power over everything and everyone. People would realize he wasn’t the hero he said he was and then Superman would view the people standing up to him as criminals for going against him which would cause him to kill those people. Superman did not realize that by doing this, he was making himself the true criminal and villain. Superman wanted order, not peace. He wanted a world without crime, not a world with happy, safe citizens. What Superman should have done after Metropolis was think of a way to make sure this never happened again by finding a way to help defend citizens so that nobody had to go through what he (Superman) had to go through. Saving the lives of the innocent is more important than punishing criminals.

Since everyone is naming off their favorite lines, mine is: "I know what you loss." I love this line because it's just so simple. Regime Superman loves justifying his actions. Telling people either they don't understand or they would do what he did in the same position. Even Batman admits (well concedes) that he wasn't saying he wouldn't do the same thing. Regime Supes even deludes himself into thinking Lois would be happy with what he built. Here comes Superman. The true Superman. He understands what he lost completely. He can empathize, but it doesn't exonerate Regime Supes. I don't know if I'm explaining it well, but ah well. That's my favorite line.

I love this part because this is the only time we get to see a confrontation of a good and evil Superman, not a clone or at least not in the comics. In the cartoon it was more of a team good vs team evil, but we get to see them talk about Supe's reign of terror and the good Supe's trying to talk some sense into his other self but is way out of control
