You will need a transfer kit, you can get them on Amazon.

if you use non-HP ink, you will most certainly VOID YOUR WARRANTY! Just a heads up.

Well, yeah they can try that. Manufacturers that have tried that shady practice have found themselves open to class action lawsuits. Ink is just ink. It's one of the reasons I own a Brother or an Epson, and will never own an HP. Price gouging company.

I put some blue ink into the black tank. How do I clean it properly?

Just let it run its course unless you want to do a total system flush. If it's a little bit of blue, fill it with black and it'll even out.

I have to wonder what would happen if someone did not print enough and somehow the ink starts to expire and separate in the tank. How would you get inside the tanks to fix this?

The ink would really only dry at the printhead. As far as the ink that's in the system that very rarely will get dried up so they would need to get into the ink system.

@@BestPrinters it was printer heads not cartridges and it's ok. Does this printer have a tank for catching ink that's been cycling through when printer cleans itself? I wanted to know if it's replaceable later
