Unicycles have matured, as you said. Product quality wise this is the first one that is recommendable to everyone and might get accepted as a properly road safe vehicle in Europe. Yes, gyrocycle! It's a much better name than electric unicycle. Gyrocycle is a more accurate description, and it doesn't conjure an image of clowns, struggling to balance and juggle, for people who aren't familiar with our wheels. I hope more people use it. Thanks Mickey!

Great video, you have a gift for producing top shelf content. My ultimate commuter is my 16x. While not the fastest, its zippy, has awesome range and i can get it up a broken down escalator without seeing my chiropractor.

😄Electric gyrocycle? To me and I think almost everyone else it's an electric unicycle or EUC, also frequently referred to as a wheel. First time I've heard electric gyrocycle. Coining a new term for them will confuse the marketplace and make your video harder to find. That said, you may have the highest production values of any EUC content creator and deserve many more views!

good job! I would say it’s not for the faint of heart-it requires commitment in every way. Spend, finding Ride time in your schedule, learning what is safe distance to stop and planning ahead your path in traffic, heft and the eventuality that you will be lifting it, also being a special euc ambassador because this draws attention and the rest of us are looking for owners of these big, fast wheels to not be “jerks” around others on pathways and sidewalks etc(sorry but that is part of it). One great thing is it looks easier to work on and it also looks built with quality and safety margins (though not, in motion has said they will unleash the limits on it with a signed waver-I think that is going to be trouble…it’s just human nature someone will screw up and EUCs will be on the legislation radar. I wish i wanted for this wheel but i’m still having a blast on my Sherman.

Amazing videography and editing here. Beautiful work! It looks like an amazing wheel, but it’s not for me. It almost weighs as much as I do! Bit of a shame they didn’t devise a storage place for the suspension pump and dampening tool.

Fantastic vid, as always! I’m always going to call my wheels Electric Unicycles, not ‘gyrowheels’. Also, 115lbs and 4k? They’ve left behind their original, core community. I can’t afford a wheel this expensive, nor would I want one that weighs so much. I’ll stick to my OG wheels.

Fantastic video. As a UK resident the lack of legislation for even escooters currently is frustrating and likely to be strict so I do worry how long it will take EUC’s to be allowed here also. Love this wheel in every way but it’s the stopping distance that would concern most, particularly those making the rules. Completely agree about we need to be careful these don’t get too big! Keep up the good work 😀

Nice video! Great footage! I think I would agree with 80% of your take. If I were to throw out a couple friendly topics of debate, I might mention breaking /acceleration assist mode as well as split ride mode. This really does help with acceleration and braking and you can set it to whatever percentage you want. I have personal experience because my v- 11 has been updated with the same options. Kuji Rolls is a smaller guy and he was able to accelerate the Challenger faster than the master. I'm not sure if he was using acceleration assist but I'm assuming he was. There is so much I love about the Challenger and I can't wait to see what Inmotion does in the future. Hopefully when tech makes batteries lighter and more energy dence, Inmotion will give us all the quality, power plus range that we want. Keep your eyes on GMG graphene aluminum ion batteries!

Haha i did mention the assist modes. In fact i was the creator of those modes for the v12 when i helped the, develop it. If you want more in depth video on thy subject i made one on the v12 a while back. But in general i don’t make that kind of video. Kuji only weighs 130 and I’m 150, and he likely was using the accel assist as I was but I like to be transparent about since not everyone will want to use that feature. Also i would take his opinions with a grain of salt…

I mean 50kg sucks but it's still as light as a good scooter or e-bike but it's powerful AF and small enough to get on a train or in a car/bus for really long trips

Great production & even better review! evX is one of the few that tests braking instead just the all out speed. Anyone ever thinks brakes are even more important 🤔! Indeed for me, its a better review than Kuji's 😁. I do see the increased adoption but I'm not so sure 'gyrowheels' are the future but just a niche within a niche of the future. Nevertheless, we need better battery tech (ie. SS & such) before the word "safe" can be used. Best review of the v13 so far 👍

Oh hahaha- no it’s just what myself and like one other guy started calling them 6 months ago. Much easier to say, easier to describe a rider “gyrocyclist”, etc. plus we ride electric motorcycles held up by a gyro… Gyrocycle… you’ll find it to be easier than eeyuusee

Really wish there were more EUC riders down in south Mississippi. The V13 would be a great commuter on the coast. The amount of rough roads their are down here. It’s the best battery setup we have ever had in a wheel. It’s potted, separated and monitored. This is why they could only fit 3,000wh… cost of doing it safely.

Many thanks..,an excellent video with great production. It might be a wonderful beast, but for myself the V13 is simply too big. It’s size and weight also probably mean it won’t be much fun to ride in the city..where you really do need quick acceleration and rapid braking. It simply won’t be a practical thing to live with..at that size and weight it’ll be a total pain in the a$$… micro mobility it’s absolutely not..indeed all the monster wheels miss this point completely. Like you, a 16” version of this, at 30 kg or less would be a very attractive proposition.

My Xiaomi Scooter PRO from 2019 and fraction of the price has Smart BMS and battery in metal housing. It is ridiculous that only super heavy and expensive EUC's has the same basic functions. Inmotion Should update also other smaller and more practical EUC's like V12 or even V10 or V8. These wheels are also quite expensive...

I don’t do range tests. It’s too subjective and there’s no official standard. But I’m sure someone will do one and sell you snake oil lol

Fossil fuels are going no-where (that is we are as dependent on them as ever, and will continue to be into the foreseeable future), that doesn't matter to us however 🙂. Horses for courses, I have the 16X, S18, and the Master and between them these certainly meet my requirements. I don't need the speed, or range of a bigger wheel. Quality, Battery Protection, IP rating, these things will never go out of fashion.
