Hi man, I did 32 km on my V8F during the summer and still 14% left. It is amazing wheel. But motor axle is not the strongest, do not jump like this 😅. I spoke with service center and I am not alone with broken motor on this wheel. Now I ride Begode T3 which is basically the same size, only a bit wider, but 3x bigger battery and capable of 50km/h. Strong and durable hollow motor is amazing. The future is here :-)

I'm glad to see a channel showing some love for the V8F. It may not be a performance wheel, and that's okay, but i get tired of hearing it called a starter wheel, I think it's deserves more respect than that. I would like to see someone do a V8S review.

I couldn't agree more! I think it's a fantastic wheel for what it is and believe there's still a big market for small wheels like this.

Wish we have the roads and pavements like this. I mean we do, but pot holes, too many cars and people and tons of motorcycles

@@landocycle I'm considering maybe just taking a step up to the V10F . . . So I can stay as close as possible to the V8F form factor . . . But just squeeze out some extra kilometers . . . You figure you were hitting about 50 km in real world on your V10F.

It’s pretty common to see battery percentage and have the wheel be unrideable.

What do you think of the Sherman versus the V12? And how important is suspension on a wheel for you?

The V12 is probably the best built wheel I've rode to date, the quality is amazing. If you don't care about suspension, it's probably one of the best all-around wheels. My beef is that it has no suspension and the 16" wheel makes it a little too squirrely for how fast it's capable of going. The Sherman is big, heavy and planted but if you still need portability the Sherman is a no-go IMO. Suspension is everything to me, The V11/S18 are still my favorite EUCs to ride and I have an S20 on the way! Hope this helps.

i wish you can test the ks14d v2 800w motor 340wh i actually get 25km with 25% left with the v8 800w 480wh 24km 5% battery also the 14d is surprisingly more stable the the v8, also more refine. i see why people say ks are quality and design is also pretty nice

If you use EUC World or equivalent, what is the highest peak current you've seen without getting alarm or tilt-back from V8F? At a few forums, the highest I've seen are 28 and 30.5 amps. One guy got a 38.7 amp reading, apparently due to a bump.

I haven’t really checked tbh. It’s pretty easy to feel where the limit is. I blew the fuse on my comparison video when it cut out, but I was intentionally rough on it.

@@landocycle - I'm not sure what I'd be trying to sense to see if I'm close to the limit. The V8F has a peak power alarm, but no peak current alarm or pulse width modulation reporting. Vendor stated that unless I was doing something extreme, overlean would occur before the fuse blew or some other failure. That 30 amp fuse is really 33 amps (rated to run at 100+ hours at 33 amps).

@@rcgldr I can feel the wheel’s max limit without getting into numbers, it just takes time getting to know each wheel. It’s a sense thing so I know to ride below that, if that makes sense.

@@landocycle -- the issue is mostly acceleration. If you get a sense that you're pushing the limits and back off, the EUC has to accelerate faster still in order to balance you, which may put it past the limits. I started 7 months ago on my V8F, 455 miles on it now, and just check peak current and power after each ride. I've never experienced anything close to an overlean situation.

@@rcgldr watch my comparison video if you want to see what the maximum lean is 🤣 It’s a great wheel for easy riding, get something bigger if you’re itching for more acceleration.
