Man, I must admit, I owe you one. I typed yesterday on youtube "prerelease crimson vow guide" or something like that and I clicked on your video i screenshoted every part of your video talking about deck constructions and cards and i went to prerelease today at a LGS. I opened good izzet stuff between aggro red and the drake that makes illusions. I tied on first game and then won them all! I finished first of the tournament and won like 7-8 additionnal boosters. I subscribed to your channel, thanks for everything my dude:)

Hey Mountain Man Magic, I went 3-2 on my prerelease. I played a RG aggro deck, split W for Torens (and 1 removal :D). With Halana and Alena on the field it was a blast! I got second place at MID prerelease (lol it was an unexpected deck I made blue/white aggro lol not control like full on aggro lol) thanks for those tips but really all you guys have to do is know the cards thank you for helping all these people who don’t look at all the spoilers the best cards I’ll post my results tomorrow or the next day I got 6th place technically 2nd tied with 3 people with a gruul aggro deck I opened halana and child of the pack with a arsonist and good high mana vamps

I always try and come up with a plan, but end up slopping jank together 😂 I'm so tempted to go to Vegas, but probably won't make it. However, I'm pretty sure that I'm on the way there if you are driving 😉

Great guide! I watched this post pre-release but still found a lot of value after the fact. I ended up going a Dimir Zombies since I got a Necroduality.

Yeah blood tokens offer so much potential to get super greedy on manabases. Green based decks are really good, since there are 2 good sizable mana dorks. The format seems slow enough to really build around blood tokens and there don’t seem to be a bunch of ways to get hyper aggro going, selesnya can hit hard and rakdos has some potential to get a ton of damage in quick, but they seem to be a little more midrange-y.

What is a kicker then? And what is mentor?
