But yes, their Hiden is not as useful as others, for example, in comparison to Shikadai's, I'd have the shadow possession any time over the other. what he did was just a simple earth jutsu that alters the terrain, Kakashi at the age of 5 could already do that, the difference is the amount of chakra used, Houki is the only one who takes advantage of making an alteration of this scale, since he has the photographic memory, but to clarify, current Kakashi is without a doubt the best user of Doton, he can Create Multiple Walls around a village and they last for more than 1 day while being constantly bombarded, and he still manages alter their chakra nature by turning them into glass for a millisecond to nullify their weakness to Lightning, I think he already did something similar in the anime against Sumire's pet
