I tend to believe that Clint enjoys these challenges more than he lets on. Sure hope he bought it cheap. One positive... the BIG forklift never fails to impress!

I love these multi-part rebuild, repair dozer videos. I can appreciate the difficulty performing these skilled task you guys do on a regular basis. Never mind throwing in videoing and editing the whole process.

I'd say the pulled out the low hour engine for another machine, and loosely fitted the blown engine into the dozer to get rid of it.

I have no doubt you guys will get it straight and make someone a very nice dozer when you're done.

Well, if anyone can turn that unit into a diamond, it's you.

Some people should not be allowed near anything do do with machinery the amount of loose missing brackets not bolted on at all I really think you were lucky it didn't start as bits would have bin flying for sure Judging by the o,s and r,s coming from you two I think we are in for a treat in the next exciting episode of what did I buy this time Cheers Guys

Thanks for sharing your thoughts, ideas and videos. There comes a point in everyone’s life when you start laughing because the only other option is to cry, and your just to skeptical to cry. Kinda reminds me of a story, women I worked with was telling about the first new car she and her husband ever bought. She came home to find her husband with the engine sitting on the front sidewalk and they hadn’t even owned it for 12 hrs yet. Apparently he was a stoner and thought it would be interesting to see how it came apart. She ended up sending it to a garage to be put back together. Never ran right after that and they were left with a box full of parts in the trunk. Looking forward to seeing what this video has in store for the future. Wishing you and your family the best.

Jeez Clint, what a teaser you turned out to be!!!!!!!!!!! I cannot wait to see inside this engine and what has failed and the cause of the failure, as I don't think you may be able to salvage too much out of the existing mess. I could not believe the way the oil was draining out of the sump, it gave the impression it was hot! Looking forward to the next instalment of "how bad is the low hour JD engine?".
