100% first video i did of a OPR game was about a year ago and on the anayltics there was a massive spike mid year 2022, great to see them get more recognition

Yeah it's definitely a last edition KT equivalent, and works in the same way as an intro to their larger games with the rules essentially being the same

The tabletop sim community is pretty large for OPR their discord almost always has some games going

yeah im a fan of the small units style groups would love if they adopted a more shatterpoint vibe and you got a big base and diorama'd 3 models onto it

I could see the benefits of reduced range, we didn't reduce any range or anything and turn 1 charges were a thing, depends if you want a quick game 😄

Hey thanks, hmmm no real reason. I mainly play OPR with my brother and he loves fantasy so we break out the big armies for fantasy. I think we had one big game of Grimdark future on the channel but it is mainly fantasy. We've played regiments a few times but not recorded them.

@@GFNGaming makes sense :). We're thinking about getting into it because apparently Car Wars 6, Gaslands, and Battletech aren't enough, and the GW rulesets just make me feel sad and lost and cold and frightened ;)

There are some listed in the rules like 2 corners, diagonal corners, and theres also the scout and ambush special rules

No auto kill, always goes to an injury roll needing to get a 6 with stacking wounds

Turn one, the plague zombie didn’t get an injury roll, it was just removed. Because it’s in a multi model unit?

@@earnestwanderer2471 yeah multiple model units lose a model per wound until just one remains then that last model accumulates wounds 👍

We're just using the core rules that are free, so you can always attack in combat if you charge or are charged, the first time you do this it's with your normal quality then you become 'fatigued' and any subsequent melee attacks need 6's to hit. I know they have a few advanced rules that i dont know so they might add to this section but thats how it works in the basic rule book :)
