We're playing games workshop warhammer 40k Kill Team!
Heading to Bheta-Decima for our 3rd game, this time between the elite kasrkin and ab-human melee kings the Fellgore Ravagers!
I've recently got lapel mics - so hoping future bat reps will have much crisper audio.

RULES EDIT: 19:42 - Death Knell can make critical damage hit as normal for operatives within 3'' - as per RAW this would mean they could not be killed from frenzy. Clearance Sweep - Target AND active operative need to be within 4'' of the token

In TP2, the herd goad boosted the shaman, but he actually cannot boost the APL of the shaman or the Leader. He'd get killed if he tried to whip his superiors!

In TP2, all the shooting against the Death Knell (gong guy) and his buddy in range wouldn't have been able to knock them out of Frenzy. Because you need to deal Critical Damage on a shooting attack to knock them out of Frenzy and they can always elect for the Critical Damage dice to deal Normal Damage if they're in range of the gong!

So the wording for this - I thought it was like the Khorne rule, it's still a critical hit but it just deals normal damage, but reading the errata it does specify 'critical damage' .... so instead, i'm going to say that of course we knew this - but for tactical reasons that clearly are beyond your ken, Ryan chose not to do this....yeah....yeah that's what happened

The goats are ridiculously strong at the moment. All you have to do is run forward and kill people and thereby score your victory points. War paint simply pushes you further into the enemy unnecessarily. Not a team where you have to think hard but are still rewarded with victory points.

Great to see the bheta decima layouts in action. One minor point - I think the neutralise target reroll at 29:58 would not have been possible. I read the Tac Ploy to mean that the target has to A. not be ready and B. fulfill one of either not being in cover or having an engage order. Sadly he is ready at this point.

Clearance Sweep - both the target AND the shooting operative must be within 4" of the token.

Nice! I'm pretty new to the team - i never got the boxset they came in so i've never had the rules and im not a fan of using websites during the game but i've got some cards coming for the team (them, justian and Necrons) so hoping to get some more games in with them when they arrive to sharpen up.

This game was far more exciting than I thought it was going to be. I thought the guard would shoot the beastmen to bits. However the beastmen overran the table and pinned the guard back until it was too late.

6:42 I have bad feeling sniper have heavy so you cant move and shoot but Im not sure. Anyway thanks as always for great battle rep! I would love to see veteran guardsmen but cadian. Any chance you have them? :D

Cheers bud, he actually has 2 fire modes 'Sharp shot' the one is use isn't heavy and 'snipe' which deals MW and is silent but is heavy.

Guess this might be contentious - I don't have the book but the rules as i read them are - Not Ready AND either has an Engage order OR is not in Cover - So 2 targets are 'not ready with engage' or 'Not in cover'.

Also, Medic melee damage is 2/3, not 3/4 (unless you gave him combat blade)

relentless means "reroll any" , not "reroll all"

Is there a part of the video you're referencing specifically because we didn't play relentless wrong.- do you mean the Goats rerolls? because there rule does actually mean you have to reroll all of the dice - its not clean relentless

@@GFNGaming Meanwhile, other parts of the community find it a neat new challenge. The CYRAC maps with the Salvation bits do make it easier to move up board, which will skew things towards the AP3 world of melee combat. Interesting to see if the balance slate tweaks to the BD rules will make the boards too safe with the additional heavy terrain bits
