It’s funny how you call that an original coffee maker. You just reminded me of a long forgotten thing from my childhood. I had forgotten how my mom would force me to grind coffee with that thing countless of times, that was 20+ years ago. I hated it so much.

Great video, it seems like you having a great time. Dont even think to return to the UK just yet, it is cold and raining. If you make it to Kosova I would recommend you visit Prizren city, Rugova Mountains just outside of Peja town and of course the capital city Prishtina. Have fun

I never herd of rice and lamb and am albanian rice pudding yes but I guess in kruja they do. Am happy for you to no more pica for you😂 looks like the American has teach you food is not that expensive in albania so try to spend a bit make it more exciting the day there. Plus get some more rakia for the man and wine for the pretty lady

@Fn n they had numbers like the Mongols.Thats how they won most of the wars. Ottoman soldiers weren't tough 1vs1 against Balkan people thats why they enrolled other ethnicities in their armies after. They were defeated in Albania for 25 years with numbers x10 times bigger army.

@Fn n Skanderbeg used to do the guerrilla war but he had someone else attack the Ottomans from the front when he was attacking for the other sides even in Battlefield. Winning is winning thats why I mentioned Kruja as that was the city that Ottomans didn't want to speak off when had to explain to the Sultan and you can imagine what a loss meant in those times for the Ottomans.

@Fn nI know almost everything about Albania and the Ottomans. in Turkey lol. He was educated by other Albanians though until he learned how to speak the language. After he enrolled in the army but if you don't have it you don't have it. It has to be withing you to succeed. The Sultan knew what breed he came from though as his father Gjon Kastrioti was known for his military skills and he kept an eye on him through his people. One think I always wondered what if Skanderbeg stayed with the Ottoman army what would had happened?

@Fn n they probably learned it from Skanderbeg lol. Of course you can't win face to face with gigantic powers like the Ottomans. No one is knocking their ability to win as they did but people like Skenderbeg need recognition for their skills and determination to win. 10 years after he died the Ottomans finally won.

When you put the hat you look like the pope..Now you know where the pope hat s come from. Do you know that Paul send the religion to Rome via durres.albania. and castle of kruja was connected with Rome against the Turks when they wanted to occupy all Europe. Lezhe island.velipoja.shkodra.ulqin is other tripe.places to visit you as tourist but in sunny days. Scottish people are from north Albanians who were in Roman armies who occupaed and lived in scotland.wells. Finally in kruja you eat right.because the local helped you to find all food
