I think the mid 2000's playing style might come back to work vs the current style of play... Now players bet, call, and raise with thin value, pure bluff catchers, and overvalue blockers. TH calling his tournament with KK vs an A 10,J, blank blank board is crazy... I guess he's putting the guy on representing a KQ and he has KK blockers, but your KK blockers also block KJ, K-10, hands that you can beat that might have played that way. He might be one of those guys that doesn't like folding KK with an ace on the board...

Everyone has a bad beat story but mine was a couple days ago , so i had pocket AA, flop is AJJ, i'm against a maniac , turn is brick, river is J , and i;m scared shyt of his quads but i'm not folding , all in he has J4 off!

22:33 - that was probably a bad call. If you eliminate ranges, Mauro 3-bet pre-flop, while you hold the K. So KK is unlikely, and I don't see Mauro checking AA/KK/AQ on the turn when a flush has been made just to raise the river. I think based on how Mauro played the hand, his hand narrows to AsKs (for a flush), QQ (which he actually has for a boat), or an insane bluff. But like the narrator said, his raise seemed so strong, if he's bluffing - he'd be more likely to shove all-in.

I think that turn check was a big mistake, but in the end it didnt matter that much he still got the call. Hard to imagine many bluffs on the river as played. Basically he is representing 99 and QQ here because flushes are very possible in BMGJoes range here. So what are the key bluffing hands, Qx with a spade basically??? Should probably be an easy fold with K6 here and a tougher spot with a made flush. I think this river raise is potentially 100% QQ or 99 though. Turn card comes 2s, QQ unblocks the flush and the 6x, mauro needs to bet here to target the many flushes and 6x and let the pocket pairs escape on the turn, despite not giving them the 5% chance to boat up. Go for all the chips vra flush, trips will always draw to the river if not shove turn, sometimes boating on river, and a triple barrel bluff looks way more like a possible bluff than checking back turn to raise allin on the river.

How long does it take the dealer to count a 30million chip raise? More then 30 seconds. Where do they find these dealers that can't count correctly. It takes her more then a minute do to a small sidepot in a 3 way all in. If they are going to organize tournaments with a million dollar prize pool then get better dealers.

Thats like one of the most basic coolers that happen in poker. Imagine going all in on a board with with top set and having someone call with an under pair they hit runner quads. That happened to me once. QQ on Q45 and called by pocket nines. Turn 9 river 9. Now thats an insane cooler!

That's called a bad beat - not a cooler. Cooler is when they have stronger hand than you when all the money went in. Calling 99 on the flop was them basically giving you money. 9 on the turn was a cooler on them, and 9 on the river is a bad beat on you.
