From a rusted out 4WD with a blown engine to a BMW M57 3.0L Turbo Diesel 6 Cylinder, and the 3rd person in Australia to do this! Jesse has transformed this dead GU into his ultimate dream Nissan Tourer!

Follow along with Jesse in the work shop as he gives tips and tricks along the way, transforming the rusted dinged up chassis into looking like it just came off a showroom floor!
Jesse’s doing it ALL himself at home in his shed. He even found all the parts himself from Marketplace and Gumtree to keep it strictly under his tight 4WD budget!

I think Jesse has become the best new presenter on the show. The content the way it was put together the camera angles. Everything in this video is as good as the work been done awesome. I'm keen to see what he is going to put this machine through with all that bracing.

I ❤ watching this. I have a 1998 GU patrol in my backyard sitting doing nothing as its got gas fitted to a motor that the gas isn't 100% compatible with so driving it had to stop as it now sounds like a loud old lawnmower. I'm no mechanic and did not put the gas in. It was already in when i purchased the 4x4 back in 2013. Don't really know what to do with it but can't bring myself to sell it while it can't be driven. This episode is giving me ideas that I would not have thought to do and its inspiring me to get moving to start getting it drivable again. Thanks Jesse for the inspiration. Great to see another nissan supporter here on the sunny GC (gold coast)

As a friend of a bmw fan id recommend going to bmw and grabbing those 4 rubber orings that go between the valve body and case over time they can compress and allow fluid to slip past the seal resulting in delayed shifts 👍

Awesome will be following this build closely. I recently purchased a GU1V ZD30 myself. Jesse I removed bubbled dash and cleaned of all the old glue & vinyl covering (what a mess ) Recovered myself with Car Builders 4 way stretch carpet and their high temp spray adhesive. Came up mint. :)

Jess this build is going to be great. Also the amount of work done in this first video is awesome and makes it nice to watch, usually an episode does not show that much progress in one go and it makes a difference. Did not get board at all and cant wait for the next one!!
