been running my evoker since they released and don't plan on stopping ever it's so much fun, and I'm super looking forward to Augmentation when it launches

Playing devastation as an alt at the moment, enjoying it alot more than I did in S1 (not just due to the immense damage output now). Maining Frost mage atm, but Devastation might be a new contender to take in account. Evoker and mage might be my 2 forever mains :D

iv mained Dracthyr since the end of Shadowlands, loved it since through the good and bad. Its really unique and different from all other classes. SO glad they made it

I love the specs, and I'm in the minority but i love the models of the dracthyr. My transmog gripe is only that you can't transmog the forms seperately. No matter what I try, I either like the human form but it makes the dracthyr form ugly, or vice versa.

Devoker is my favorite class I’ve ever played in wow. Been playing since Lich King. I run mythics very often and the only thing evoker needs to make it a true S tier spec is defensives. Maybe like a pally bubble. Or something where you stand in place and wrap your wings around yourself. But just obsidian scales for dmg reduction is rough.

I am currently a Balance Druid main but watching this video convinced me to main Devastation Evoker . I like the extra mobility and the huge damage output as well as the utility evoker offers

I main Evoker with Devastation and so far enjoy the whole ride. And when 10.1.5 comes around, i switch to Augmentation, just to see how that feels.

Evoker needs to get a misdirect or something to help with our aggro on big pulls. Specially if no one in the group has something.

I've been a Ret Paladin since Legion but the Legendary item dropped on my Evoker during a Normal alt run so maybe Ill spend a little more time with the Evoker lol

Evoker is a blast to play in 10.1. The rework was perfection. People complaining about solo content. You’ll need to adjust the tree for solo content. Our mobility as a caster makes up for being tanky.

I level dev evoker first in dragonflight and then fell off until 10.0.7 and I’m in love with it now. PvP, pve, arena’s, mythic+, raids you name it devistation is so much better. I think this will be my main from now on.

Loving my Evoker! Im always being invited to Mythic +’s so your correct with that! Why do people not play it as much? I wish the rotation wasn’t just 4 spells and thats it. I know the talents augment allot of the spells. But meh it just feels like their should be more to it.

Evoker was a fun class in group content, but surviving in solo open world areas with elites just sucks all the fun out of the class for me. Same reason I don’t play mage. Just not a fan of the kiting play style those classes require just to do what other classes can do by default

I never wanted to play evoker because I thought it was weird and being a dragon was weird and I didnt like it... I got bored and decided to try one and now it is my new main and I love being a dragon fella.

I think rescue is a bit clunky, maybe work it like wraith form so i can just go swoop and pick up and then freely move them where i need to put them with a move speed buff over a targeted location also i dont like the current incarnation of empower skills, it doesnt make sense for the BEST dps application is to NOT empower the spell that has to be an oversight, no way is that the intended form of play

We need better visuals skills in shaman elemental. Lava burst looks ugly as hell.

I can never, mostly because i can't stand the dragon form, neither the human form. It is like a constant bad transmog.

even though i have choosen to main evoker (still waiting on Augementation) there are some gripes i have with evoker and the dracthyr as a whole. lets just get the start off with the dracthyr as a whole: their lack of actual transmog in dracthyr form is such a massive negative for me. i hate it. after learning they were going to be a mail armor class, i spent a great deal of time farming up what i could with my hunter and shaman...only to find out it was all for not. i did NOT spend that time farming all those looks just to dress up YET ANOTHER FUCKING ELF!!!! which comes full swing to my second gripe. the visage being another elf, specifically b.elf models. this is a personal gripe, but i hate elves. im so tired of them, we have more than enough elves. i did not want my dragon to also be a fuckin elf. please, Blizz, give us more visage forms, PLEASE. to my third and final gripe, Soar having a 2 min CD (after gaining the 1 min cd reduction after map completion for that map) and only being a very temporary method of flight. it should seriously be a side option for actual dragon flying, just as the NPC can use it. im a fucking dragon! i have wings! let me use them! other than those, thats all i have for the dracthyr as a race. as for evoker as a class, specifically Deva and very likely still with Auge, they are very squishy for a mail armor class. they just get squashed so easily, with very few methods of healing that arent hard CDs. the fact that Living Flame is both a heal and damage ability urks the shit out of me. i have to untarget my enemy to target myself to heal then return my focus to my target? its clunky as all fuck. however, these wouldnt be too bad of problems of it werent for the other glaring issue evoker suffers from. being a ranged spec with a MAX range of 25yds vs EVERY FUCKING OTHER RANGED CLASS HAVING 40YDS. yes, this is a massive problem. to have little self care options, be this squishy and have to be that close to your target is such a horrible mixed bag of bullshit. its so bad to deal with when out in the solo world, so much so that when im out solo i tend to run around in preservation just to keep my head firmly attached to my shoulders. the positives of the class are great, dont get me wrong, but the negatives are just as fucking jarring and its these negatives as to why so few actually play the evoker at all. why run an evoker when you can just pick up a BM hunter? of which is thousands of times easier and safer to play and still brings all the damage? despite it all, im still maining my dracthyr because ive always wanted a dragon like race to play for so long that im willing to over look the huge faults the class has.

evokers need more gear that gives secondary stats a buff.. liker the primal infused stuff..

You can tell the people who play Devastation Evoker from the people who don't by what their "issue" with the class is. If they are mad about the empower bug, they play Devastation. If they are mad that Evokers don't fill their scalie fetishist sexual fantasies by being more muscular than a bodybuilder, they probably don't play Evoker.

The problem with Evoker is that it's attached to the Dracthry and looks dumb as hell very few people want to be a skinny-ass Disney dragon lol.

Haha I’m not gonna lie people be raging when I use rescue on them. Tanks hate it. And not gonna lie most of the time I use it I take damage of something I fly over. They should make us immune to effects when that’s active in pve only.

It's "DEVASTATION" but the animations need more Oomph... it feels like you're throwing glitter at your enemies.. The attacks don't reflect the force you expect. Eternity Surge or Fire Storm have great animations that feel impactful, everything else is really meh.

Dev was way better in 10.0.5... and we we're still the #1 dps in almost any raid you stuck us in. Sad to see the stuff that made playing my class fun go, like clipping. that felt like one of the things that would put you above another evoker. now its just press this, then that. Also ST DPS was nuts in 10.0.5, one of the strongest if you did it right. 170k pop off damage and 90ks, now im doing less dps with a higher ilvl lol

I still won’t play until they give more options for body style, more visages, and more armor options. Till then, it’s a no for me. Not playing a crackhead dragon.

I like everything excrpt the ugly model while i cast spells, therefore i don't play it at all, still waiting for glyph or something that hides that ugly lizard and lets me use the best model in the game.

Evoker have always looked and played lame to me and just for 12 year olds just like the pandas during pandaria. I made 2 evokers on launch and quickly parked them. They look awful compared to what they could have looked like bigger and beefier like the NPC race I forgot the name that welcomes you. I m willing to give it another try but to me this screams of blizzard purposefully making it OP to push people to play it.

As long as evokers have a shortened range with no compensation, they are a hard pass. You are better off sticking with a class that doesn't operate with a straight jacket on.
