There’s an old abandoned golf course down the road from where i live. I dream of one day buying it to build the most insane track in Texas.

Everyone calls my uncle's track a golf course because it has grass and is maintained well, but he doesn't have the mowed lines that make this look more like a golf course.

My Dad (born in 1942) always wanted to sneak onto a golf course for some hot laps, but despite doing all kinds of stuff like street-racing on I-80 while it was being built and not yet open to traffic, he never did it because he didn’t want to give us motocross riders a bad name. I really wish I would have known about this place while he was still alive so that I could have taken him there to cross off a “bucket-list” item. Great video, thank you.

I remember logging a lot of laps at that place back when I lived there. This place is on Osterhaut road. The guy who owns it is one of the nicest guys you’ll ever meet. It has definitely grown but still same basic layout. He built it originally because he loved to ride and also his son wanted to be a pro. Jeff, back where you were parked one of his friends owned the garage there and restored old cars which were pretty cool. On a side note, if you get back down here to Florida the old Florida track and trails facility has reopened. It’s called Sandlot now.

Ever since I started you have been the guy I have looked up too

Makes me want to get another bike again , back in the day motocross was my life , practice all week race on Sunday , cut grass for gas money and entry fees , I road CZ , Honda Yamaha Ossa , and my last bike was KTM , I should of kept that one , but I would like a Kawasaki , there awesome bikes too , I'm almost 62 but who cares , thanks .
