Man, I'm not usually into weathered hilts, but that particular saber looks pretty damn sweet. I can see why you wanted it in your collection.

Yeah they did a great job on the weathering. A lot of companies are just awful, they're typically all black and dark grey, they look so bad. But this is actually weathered.

I never try to look at it as actual "Weathering" and just see it sorta like an acid bath look.

Your passion for Star Wars absolutely amazes me! I'm a huge fan of Starkiller myself! The Force Unleashed is actually one of the first Star Wars games I got when I was younger. What originally got me into Star Wars games though was the original Battlefront games for the PS1 and PS2! Cool video Carly!

I think it's so great that Starkiller has a saber that is so exposed like that. He is very in tune with the force, so it's almost like he uses the Kyber Crystal as a weapon itself, and not the hilt.

Love The Force Unleashed and Maris Brood is my all-time favorite Star Wars female. Love her so much I made her the female lead in a Star Wars fanfiction I wrote that takes place about six months after A New Hope. You’ve got a great collection overall and congrats on getting Starkiller’s lightsaber.

I’m not sure if you know, but I personally think he could be using the force to enhance its durability. The ancient Jedi and Sith used methods of reinforcing and making regular weapons more powerful through the force, such as swords, staffs, etc. by imbuing their weapons with the force. They could use force attacks with the weapon due to this. Starkiller is able to do the same thing by channeling force lightning into his lightsaber while attacking, therefore making said attacks stronger.

Yo! Crystal exposed sabers are the coolest. They are a pain to build. But totally worth it. Diy modifications to Crystal and tempering and cracking gives lighting of the stone cool effects

I love Starkiller, so I definitely intend to get his saber at some point. The ones I'll 100% get are the Darksaber, Revan's Saber(even though it's purple), and of course Starkiller's. All lightsabers belong to grey area characters, and so ideal for me. I'm very much a grey area person. P.S We do need to get Starkiller back in canon and not as a generic Inquisitor. He should be a special kind and at the power level of Dooku, to allow him the ability to use force lightning as he does in the games. The upcoming Vader series is one such possibility to reintroduce Galen Marek. Maybe not in the first or second season(assuming there will be multiple), but likely in the third... if at all. Even if not in the shows, Starkiller should be the "new" protagonist of a star wars game to replace Cal assuming Cal's killed off to maintain the continuity of Luke being the last Jedi during Return of the Jedi. This time, instead of focusing completely on the light side... it should be the dark side. Then the sequel to the Starkiller Fallen Order type game can be more of a grey area game to transition to a completely light side game for the third. All this is just hypothetical full of useless hope.

I just reinstalled both Force Unleashed games yesterday, first one is definitely better I think. As a kid I bet the second in one sitting unintentionally, was so disappointed how short it was!! 😭 Great vid!

The first one is a self contained story that fit perfectly with the canon of the time it was made. The second one feels like a forced sequel and with a lack of a third game to complete the story it really just doesn't make sense.

I was surprised you were able to take a blade from one of your sabers and put it in the Starkiller hilt. I see set screws on two new light sabers I bought but not older ones - a year or more old. Can all blades be removed? Thanks if you know the answer.

Starkiller is cool, but my favorite character (from the sequel trilogy) is Kylo Ren/Ben Solo. My little puppy is even named Kylo Ruff, he's all back and wears a blue collar! Lol. Anyways, I would never be able to trade my Kylo Ren and Ben Solo lightsabers and mine aren't even neopixel like one of yours is I think! Awesome video regardless!
