Get the diff cups and axles red hot with a torch and quench them in clean motor oil. Bake for 2 hours at 350. Advice from a metal worker I know of. Said the metal's vary from rig to rig and they are either too soft or to brittle, probably a few different metal's combined. Can't expect much for the price but this may help some although Quite extensive but I thought I'd share. Great 👌 content as always

I'm new to the hobby and I got a wltoys 959B and made it brushless with a 4350kv motor and 3s and it's super scary fast but so much fun

Hi,Anyone know if this car can handle a taller esc than the 124019 when mounted in same place??? i ask because my esc is a pretty big 60 amp with a fan on top 1.5 '' high x 1.8'' long... there is no way to see the clearance distance from this video.... thanks

@@DriftomaniacsRC I just did my conversion of the same car I put the orange BL 3650 4300KV motor with a 60amp ESC I think it’s a Goolrc combo from eBay. This thing is clogging terribly I just can’t figure it out any help or advice please thanks in advance .

No it seems to be happy wherever you put it, I checked the instructions and it doesn't specifically say where to fit it, although never fit a gyro upside down! Once did in an arrma and the results were somewhat comical

Update on the buggy I got the same 5700kv motor and hobbywing quicrun 60a esc coming.there coming From China though so it's a counterfeit I'm sure so will see how it performs

Yes it's the same mount but I just bought a pack of two Aliminum ones off ebay and took the whole motor / mount assembly off

why could you not be able to heat motor mounting screws then remove once it was out of the car? do they use red thread locker? are the screw heads total trash? i know the blue mount look nice,,,but is it really that difficult to separate brushed motor from mount.... thanks

It's a lot easier to fit a brand new $5 mount, most people that have tried removing the two have stripped the screw threads, if you've got a pillar drill to drill out the screws like I have that's fine, but most people haven't so I stand by my solution

Id go with the surpass 80amp, 3660+ can, 3100kv - 3900kv.. depending on the vehicle. higher amp esc is always good, i think 45amp to 80amp is same size

This motor has relatively high kv but is just small, mine actually got a max10 3655 4000kv at 3s but now im building on my 4200kv 4s with speed gearing, btw i just drive tue 144001 not the 018 or 019...

I hope you turned down the level of speed 🧐 of throttle, and too much 🎈 tire's make it unstable, wltoys is very light weight, not heavy weight🤨😮, hopefully 🤔 see speed runs soon on smooth surfaces and no crashes.
