In this Slay the Spire gameplay, Baalorlord does an Ascension 20 run with Ironclad. First, he gives tips on choosing a path and a starting bonus. Later on, he explains his decision for each card he chooses and why it's important to the build. Towards the end, he gears up for an epic Heart fight you don't want to miss. I use a few mods for Slay the Spire. All of them are Quality-of-Life improvements and do not have any effect on the gameplay. Here are all of the mods I have active:
Slay the Relics Exporter, used for the live stream: steamcommunity.com/sharedfile...
Relic Stats, to keep track of how many times the relic effects happened: steamcommunity.com/sharedfile...
UI Sliders, to reposition the Discard and Exhaust piles, so that they are not hidden behind the camera: steamcommunity.com/sharedfile...
Run History Plus, giving us more info in the Run Summary screen about the run: steamcommunity.com/sharedfile...
Map Marks, for path highlighting - here, typically, Green means an easy, intended path, and Orange or Red means a harder path that I might take if I get good rewards: github.com/casey-c/mapmarks

Very neat start to the run. The 3 potions ended up being a Common Relic start + extra health.

Its funny you mention that you've been valuing iron wave a lot more recently on the ironclad, because I've been going through the exact same development myself. It's become one of my favorite floor one commons for clad, along the likes of pommel strike and anger.

1:06:36 Berserk could have removed the debuff. When you have Pellets, Berserk can offer an immediate benefit.

My current A20 Clad run started hot: Max Health forrrrrrrrrrrrr Prayer Wheel! 🥳 Act 1 Relics: Turnip👌, Fossilized Helix 🥳, Courier Act 1 Cards: (-1 Strike) PomStr+, PerfStr+, Headbutt, Rampage(Match and Keep Event) Arma+, Shrug, Flame Barr, GArmor, Disarm, Shockwave, Entrench Corruption+ 🥳 Reaper 🥳 Exhume 🥳 (M&K Event) Boss Card: Chose Barricade over Offering annnnnnnnnnnnd Boss Relics: Sacred Bark 🤨, Choker 🥴, and… Tiny House. 😁🔫 Leave a like if you’d like to know how I managed to screw this up later. 💩

Never saw a Feel No Pain, Dark Embrace all run or ANY source of strength... Transient killed me late as I was built to block and body slam, but honestly I kinda got bored after I overpopulated my deck with exhaust cards and weak relics. I couldn’t find card draw anywhere. I would’ve taken a Brutality if they offered it. I had 3 burning pacts I was so desperate 😂. 2nd Boss relic choice was: Runic Dome (I don’t have the prowess to handle this), Calling Bell and Slaver’s Collar 😑.

I’m just getting kinda tired of the clad runs….. it’s broken up by nothing….. I’m soooo burned out on clad I could go the rest of my life without seeing him again….
