In this Slay the Spire gameplay, Baalorlord does an Ascension 20 run with Silent. First, he gives tips on choosing a path and a starting bonus. Later on, he explains his decision for each card he chooses and why it's important to the build. Towards the end, he gears up for an epic Heart fight you don't want to miss. I use a few mods for Slay the Spire. All of them are Quality-of-Life improvements and do not have any effect on the gameplay. Here are all of the mods I have active:
Slay the Relics Exporter, used for the live stream: steamcommunity.com/sharedfile...
Relic Stats, to keep track of how many times the relic effects happened: steamcommunity.com/sharedfile...
UI Sliders, to reposition the Discard and Exhaust piles, so that they are not hidden behind the camera: steamcommunity.com/sharedfile...
Run History Plus, giving us more info in the Run Summary screen about the run: steamcommunity.com/sharedfile...
Map Marks, for path highlighting - here, typically, Green means an easy, intended path, and Orange or Red means a harder path that I might take if I get good rewards: github.com/casey-c/mapmarks

I like taking bites if I have coffee dripper or am otherwise restricted on healing

Literally took them on my very first time playing STS. It was on my friend's account so Clad had some unlocks already, and I managed to get so much healing and Strength gain that I almost beat the Heart on my very first run.

Would love to see a video explaining Events in Slay the spire? It's quite confusing keeping track of all the events and when to take them

Yeah it takes some time to figure out when to take events. It's a pretty complex portion of the game.

I don't think I've ever seen you even slightly annoyed, but that early moment of drawing 0 block out of so many, classic spire. You had to say you don't expect to take damage

Since Baalor called the Time Eater "sir and/or madam", I'm now choosing to read all of their voice lines like Lust from FMA. Previously it was Gary from SpongeBob's dreams. Honestly don't know if this is an upgrade or not.

Also consider Portal to Boss if you have an infinite deck that is complete. You're probably pathing to avoid Events anyway in case of Falling but if new cards or relics won't help you anyway then time to zoom.

Biggest broken is that it doesn’t give you the keys, and you usually don’t have all the keys yet.

Great run- I’m finally catching a bit of the Twitch stream now that I subscribed. Going from a KZfaq viewer to Twitch is interesting. I’m enjoying the uncertainty of it.

I had an awesome jaxx/bite/Feed run, made it to the heart with 120 health, but the game decided I wasn't going to draw my defense cards when the heart was attacking. Ah well, lesson learned, more draw

I really don't understand the choice to not get the curse when you'll had it for only one fight ^^' Yeah, it's an elite fight, but the chance to have the curse and no merchant to remove it from the deck is big, and then it's two boss fights with a curse XD

Hey Baalor, great vid! Why not upgrade Neutralize instead of Sucker Punch at the first campfire? It's 1 less damage increase, but it still gives the same weak coverage, and you'll play neutralize pretty much every time you draw it for the rest of the game, whereas sucker punch you may not play sometimes because of the cost. Is the 1 extra damage that important?

Actually, yes. You'd be surprised how many times you end up one damage off a kill.
