10 - Travis Scott
He’s easily one of the rappers with the highest cash flow in the world in 2020. Travis dropped $23 and a half million dollars in cash on a massive mansion in the ritzy Brentwood neighborhood of Los Angeles.
9 - Post Malone
He’s one of the hottest rappers out right now, so it only makes sense he owns a $3 million dollar mansion. And apparently, he’s supposedly preparing for an apocalypse with this mansion!
8 - Drake
He started building his over the top mansion back in 2015. 100 million dollars and 5 years later, it’s finally finished and it’s known as “The Embassy.” He first spent $6.7 million dollars for the property located in Toronto’s exclusive Bridle Path area that’s known as “Millionaire’s Row”.
7 - Dr. Dre
After selling Beats Electronics to Apple for $3 billion in 2014, Dr Dre decided to go on a little shopping spree. He celebrated by closing a deal on Tom Brady and Gisele's 14,000-square-foot LA mansion!
6 - Will Smith
Does it surprise anyone that the older Fresh Prince of Bel Air lives in a $42 Million dollar 9-bedroom mansion in Calabasas, California now? This mansion is right around 25,000 square feet and sits on a whopping 150 acres!
5 - Jay Z
Jay-Z and Beyoncé have a staggering net worth of over a BILLION dollars. They currently live in their $88 million dollar megamansion in Bel Air! They bought this megamansion back in 2017, and it was the most expensive property bought in LA that year.
4 - Kanye West
He wanted a futuristic Belgian Monastery. And Kim wasn’t gonna disagree! They bought an estate for $20 million bucks back in 2014 in the exclusive gated community of Hidden Hills, California.
3 - Lil Wayne
He’s got a net worth of roughly $150 million so he can afford to splurge a little. He owns this $17 million dollar mansion in Miami. Lil Wayne used to live in another house in Miami that he bought for $11.6 million in 2011.
2 - Rick Ross
Rick Ross easily owns the biggest mansion in Georgia! Long story short, former heavyweight champion Evander Holyfield had to sell his 45,000-square-foot mansion to a bank for seven and a half million dollars.
1 - Gucci Mane
Gucci and Keyshia Ka’oir are one of hip hop’s hottest couples. With Gucci’s success since he got out of prison, he’s made plenty of money to splurge on a mansion in Fort Lauderdale.

Admittedly I watched this out of curiosity, but I find it sadly ridiculous. I get it, ya have lots of money and you want a nice house, but seriously, 10Mill goes a long way to having an amazing home, and even that's ridiculous. There's so many other things that could be done with that kind of money, like homes for homeless people that aren't homeless out of choice, but out of situation. Lots of people need some form of financial help to get their lives into a better situation to where they can once again function productively because they were able to get the help they needed to get out of the bad situation they were in for whatever reason they were in it. Why not help them? I don't get why anyone needs that much luxury, when is it ever enough? Shit, just the property takes for 1 month alone is enough to take care of a 4 or 5 person family for about 20 years. This is totally sick and not in a cool way. DISGUSTING! And no it's not jealousy that I say this from, I say it because it's true. I have no need to have a life like this, never have, never will.

@Matt Rossey I think it's all relative. It's really hard to judge people who make billions and spend millions. The avg person in the US is by definition "rich". The avg American is 1% in income in the world. A lot of billionaires/millionaires give away so much money anyways. This topic is def worth a discussion though!
@comedianmattrossey
@comedianmattrossey 3 жыл бұрын
@@PablitosWay Thanks for the reply. It's not a matter of judging people because of what they make, it's a matter of doing something worthwhile with the money . To say the average person in the US is "rich" by definition is ludicrous seeing the amount of poverty in the US. I do understand what you're comparing it to, however, it's the country itself, and maybe 5% of the population that is "rich" as you put it. If you compare the US to a 3rd world country, then yes, it's filthy rich, however, that truly isn't a fair comparison seeing how in the US and here in Canada where I live, the access to clean water, electricity, and medicine ( I know in the US medicine and health care isn't free like it is here in Canada, but what we have far surpasses countries such as the Philippines, where my wife is from, where the average monthly income for what is termed in the Philippines as 'Middle Class' is $300 CDN a month at the most. In the Philippines there are, in comparison to the US or Canada, 2 classes in the Philippines, Rich, and most most people. The poverty level in the Philippines is tremendous because of a system of government that is totally corrupt and doesn't try to hide it. Not that most governments and politicians aren't corrupt in some way, but some like the US and Canadian government atleast do things for the citizens to some socio economic security to its citizens. North America has it pretty good compared to other countries, but the point I'm making in my original comment is that those who have the money like that really should do more to help others. If that was to happen, then a lot of the problems we have in our societies could potentially be solved as there wouldn't be a need for crime. The system both of our countries has is flawed in that way, that we have social welfare systems, but those systems don't come anywhere near helping those who need and want a better life to afford the chance to get it for their families and selves and the cycle continues generation after generation. I don't know the exact %'s, I'd be willing to guess that between 2 and 5% of the population in both the US and Canada control about 97% of the wealth. That's wrong. There should be more done. And for those in that are in that small percentage of wealth, I get it that they worked hard and made sacrifices to have that wealth, but truthfully, how much money do you need before your at the point that you no longer have an y needs and are able to for the rest of your life live without ever needing to make more money. When someone has to pay a months property taxes which equates to what most people will make in 15 to 20 years, then there's something seriously wrong with society. Because of Covid 19, governments have realized how defunct and behind they are in developed countries and have realized changes and improvements are long overdue and some changes have begun, there are many more that need to happen. But one that I truly believe needs to change is tax cuts to the wealthy while the lower and middle class pay more taxes than the wealthy, this is not only fundamentally wrong, but also morally wrong. Why is it that the wealthy get to ride on the backs of the poor or middle classes, they should pay an equal amount at minimum. Personally I have always thought that the wealthy should also have to pay a societal improvement tax. That money would go towards free higher education and social development programs so that all people in the country would truly have equal opportunities to make a higher incomes. Essentially making it so that the majority of society was making the same amount of money and the financially lesser of society would have the means to have a better quality of life that in comparison would be out of poverty. I know this is a very utopian idea, but it is a very conceivable idea that could work and has been done to a certain extent in some countries.

@@ToyManFlyer1100 Wow, next to Pablito's Way responding, which I didn't at all expect, you are the only response to this. I'm surprised there wasn't more of a response. Yeahh, hahahaha, donations. I have seen this all my life and it just bewilders me man. As far as Drake's house, no idea. I live in Toronto, Canada where Drake is from and lives, but have never seen his house. I've heard about it, but have no interest in taking the time to see it as he really isn't much of an influence in my life. Actually he has a clothing store very near me on Dundas Street West, but, it's just not my thing. I'm happy to see someone else has the same thoughts as me about this. I was beginning to wonder if I'm just way out of touch with the world. What significance is the owl on Drake's house? I know it's on his store. I just figured it was a branding symbol like every business has.
