Avery must stay awake or face the consequences of sleep.
Insaniac is a horror short film that was made of Northwest Nightmares Film Festival. It took home Best Picture, Best Sound Design, Best Production Design, and Best Screenplay at the festival. I hope everyone enjoys this horror short film and has a happy Halloween!

I just watched the video about the awards and then I realized that I hadn’t watched the film. Such great work, I’m absolutely in love with the sound design (it was a superb audible experience for me) and the last shot is amazing!!! Well done!

Great work my man! You’ve really leveled up in all areas on this one. The buildup to the final “kill” was awesome. That final shot had to be practical right? Looked so good!

Thanks man. I’m just trying to get better one film at a time. It was practical. I recreated the flooring outside with a dummy. It’s been a lot fun watching you grow as a filmmaker over the years as well. I’m excited to see your new horror project. Happy Halloween!

I rented a RED Gemini camera from my film school. Don’t get discouraged about the price of that camera though. I was able to get it for free, but I usually shoot on a $500 camera. I lost best cinematography to someone who shot on a LUMIX GH4.

It seems she was having a tarmac case of sleepwalking. This film reminds me of a movie who was a sleepwalker and ended up murdering his father-law while in the state of sleepwalking.
