Thank you for the video. I often scale Google Earth images in AutoCAD for my drawings, but your method is better than what I do. I will check out your other videos. I'm an engineer in Nova Scotia, Canada and I'm about to start a site drawing for a job in Bangladesh, so this will come in handy. Cheers.

I usually just zoom in and print an image from google earth. I make sure the scale bar is on the image and I scale it in CAD. It's not 100% accurate but it's really close and good enough for my purposes

Thanks for replying sir, Actually i just installed google earth to try it ,for my case it open correctly bt earth map not working correctly ,its getting slow, almost not moving . How can i fix this ? Please give some suggestion.

I think , if the installation is perfect it should work properly . The performance issue may be due to low band width

When you are inserting any map (Google Earth image, FEMA FIRM, soils map, etc.) I recommend scaling the insert image to many times larger at first. That way, when you select the points on the image and align, the image will shrink down to the known points. That allows the potential margin of error to be reduced. So, insert the image, scale it up many times, select the points, align it to known points, scaling the image way down.

Another option is to use the integrated bing aerial imagery to find your area in C3D (sorry I don't know if this is available in base autocad) draw a rectangular polyline a bit outside your area of interest. Use the map export command to create an Esri shapefile which can then be opened in google earth, and then save the image much as you have shown, and import it back into autocad/c3d and align the border to your orignal points. The caveat is of course that you have to set your drawing settings to the appropriate coordinate system in advance.
