You've got this wrong like everyone else does. The stadium didn't cost £1billion the whole project is £1 billion, the stadium cost £450 million.

I may have missed it, but you have not mentioned the amazing underground car park which is under the entire stadium area...there was virtually no car parking facilities at the old and lovely WHL. The car park was excavated out and the new stadium built from ground level on top! A very important point which fans are delighted with. This is where the football pitch retracts too when NFL play there...apologies if I missed you saying this.....

@TheClassicalSymphony no he’s not lying. There is indeed a Sainsbury’s car park next to the stadium but there is also an underground car park directly beneath the stadium.

How does one get a spot there? Is it hospitality or only if you’ve got a season ticket/ box in the middle tier prawn sandwich seats? Only asking as would love to do hospitality there. Although happy bouncing with other yiddos in the Park Lane COYS

@@ju.ice-der-boi Why is it "soulless", is the Bernabeu "Soulless", is the Nou Camp "Soulless", or the Allianz Arena, or the new SoFi Stadium in California, i would have thought the fans make a stadium come alive, and give it its "soul", and with 60,000 people attending every home game, Spurs fans are doing just that. The noise and atmosphere in there is incredible. But please, tell me what you mean by "Soulless".

It's so well planned out and in fact, is just a marvel of engineering and planning. It's an absolute MILE ahead of any other stadium in the world. Well, at least when you think of permanent stadia. Qatar did a good job, but half their stadia are going to be disappearing in design terms and were only really temporary buildings in most.

First of all Wembley Stadium is the biggest one in London and the UK which hosts 90.000. Though it home of the Three Lions England national team. It is not a PL stadium.

Last year I took my Dad, a lifelong Spurs fan, to a match with Premier tickets. He loved it, the stadium is stunning 🤩 pity it’s Spurs though 😂

The £1bn / $1.33bn you often see quoted is simply untrue. It's £1bn for the entire Northumberland Park Project, which includes the stadium, shop, college, but also skyscraper apartments, a hotel, pedestrianisation of the high road and various other local amenities. Many of the latter have not been built yet, and it's debatable if they'll ever see the light of day. All in, it hasn't cost £800m yet.

The stadium must make a fortune on match days. Everything is cashless. The average spectator spends a 100 plus quid, and that’s a conservative estimate, times it by 60k spectators/ customers you’re talking 10 million every home game.

Football moves fast...Villa, Man City Liverpool, West Ham will all have 60k -plus stadia within the decade. Villa and Man City also have plans for larger commercial zones than the Tottenham stadium has.

Lies! $115 simply isn't true unless you're going for premium. If you have membership you can get tickets for £50/$57 Champions League and £65/$74 for a Cat A match. I've paid no more than £55 for my Chamopions League tickets and £62 for Liverpool on Sunday.
