While in Finland last week I was lucky enough to spend one night in the SnowVillage ICE HOTEL!! So excited to share the most unique hotel experience I've ever had. Comment below if you would stay here!

Yeah I would totally go for it for a night, looked awesome. Love the colors in there. Where are you now? I'm in Romania and heading north, maybe to Poland and the Czech Republic next. If you guys are planning to see some places in eastern Europe in the next couple weeks maybe we could meet up. Although, you mentioned going somewhere warm so maybe you've moved on already.

In Finland parents often take take babies outside to nap, of course they are also cocooned and dressed really warm but the fresh and cold air is really good for sleep. The kids sleep like crazy, me included when I was a baby. And thank you truly for making this video, it's really Good for the Finnish turism, and I think the bearded wizard on the hotel wall is Väinämöinen, he belongs to the Finnish mythology.

I'm already 17, but i still cant sleep well if its over 10 celcius. i never use heating in my room, and i have windows open for night if possible. of course i use sleeping bag since my body temperature drops when I'm asleep, but actually while I'm awake I really cant feel cold. i usually go around in t-shirt all year around, even when its like -30 celcius.

In fact, less clothing inside the sleeping bag, the warmer you will be. Use to wear only my boxer shorts back in the army in winter time :)

I got married there last year. Totally amazing place. Staying in the tepie with outside hot tub on our wedding night. Then stayed in one of the suites on our last night. We also came back to visit this year. The game of thrones theme it also absolutely amazing 😁😁👍👍

The sleeping bag is warm enough - and you're in there in full clothes - if you want :)

No clothes same as you dont sleep clothed in bed, You wake and stand up you are sweaty and get cold fast. you can sleep as a baby in a sleeping bag even if its -30!

Sleeping bag is VERY warm. No clothes! you dont sleep in a bed with clothes, you dont sleep in sleeping bag with clothes. Even in -30c you are warm in a good sleeping bag. if you sleep with clothes on you will get sweaty and after waking up = you are cold outside because of sleeping with cltches on.

There is one as well in Quebec City, but this one in Finland is amazing, I would never sleep in a cold hotel

This makes me very proud of my home country. It is unbeliavable that there's a huge hotel in here built out of *snow!* This series has been very interesting. It is nice to hear good things about Finland, because I always thought this is a shitty place. 😂 But I am actuality very VERY lucky to live here. ❤🙏

By the way. The biggest icehotel in the world is in Jukkasjärvi in Sweden. 5500m2 You also have an icehotel in Norway and in Canada.

Shania Villamor Actually people sleep better in lower temperatures. It’s quite normal here to leave a baby sleep outside at -10 Celsius degrees. :)

I absolutely would love to sleep a night there . i live in Northern Minnesota where we have 8 months of winter , & i sleep way way better when its cold.. I hope you got to do some ice fishing while your stay in Finland.

Already booked in to stay 1 night in a glass igloo and another night in the snow hotel and then 2 nights in Rovaniemi this coming December (2019). A long way to travel from New Zealand for a white Christmas, but I think it will be worth it!
