It's our first night in Japan ever and we're staying at a CAPSULE HOTEL! The futuristic design gave me galaxy vibes. It felt like we were inside a spaceship floating among the stars.
The pods turned out to be more spacious than expected. I did not get claustrophobic, but everyone's level of comfort varies in enclosed spaces. How about the rest of the experience? Watch the full video to see the detailed tour!
Be sure to check out my friend's channel!

@@angelinatheadventurer4437 Though I'm sure someone will say all these things beyond the bare-bones-minimum are defeating the purpose of creating economic vacation lodgings - this video *is* about an economic place to stay while visiting Japan, right? as at no point in the video does she mention how much it costs in comparison to a regular hotel room, or even just how much it costs - here's another idea: visual projections that can be made on to your ceiling. For example, space, the ocean, the African plains... it'd be similiar to a window, only above you, and not to directly outside (which would cost a lot of money for the builders, to put a window next to every capsule).

I love the concept and the idea behind this video. followed there. I have to mention this too. In life, the main objective is to be healthy, to have good technology, to eat well and to be FINANCIALLY STABLE, in other words, to have money, once you have all this, life will be easy.

Well they live in a tiny country and are generally tiny and skinny people, so what's big and what's small to them is gonna be different than to, say, an American. I'm generally claustrophobic (compared to other people in my country) but honestly compared to many European buildings these aren't that small to me, in a hotel in Paris there was an elevator that could fit maybe 2 skinny people and some luggage at most lmao, which was also the only elevator that went to the attic floor with the single-person rooms with twin beds where I was staying. Also very tiny for a full room, but I didn't mind it too much because I'm tiny and my definition of 'small' is still pretty lenient since I'm from another tiny (and cramped) country where houses are generally pretty small (my bedroom is the length of a twinbed long AND wide). The fact that most pods only have screens instead of actual doors probably also helps, knowledge of a very easy way out and little seperation between the pod and the room outside of it, like a bunkbed but with more privacy. Pods generally aren't allowed to be locked thanks to Japanese law, so you can't be trapped in there like you can in elevators.

I don't think so. Cities aren't the future. All you have to do is look at what rich people are doing -- they want space and privacy. And the future of work won't always be provided by the cities. And people will move back to the rural areas.
