To be honest, water is never just water. It always has something in it, like minerals, good/bad bacteria and maybe even added vitamins. It's still obviously not worth 50 $ or whatever, but water enriched with minerals in a survival situation is still better than regular drinking one.

Good luck finding the bag when it's dark and the power's down. There's a reason Survival gear comes in colours like bright orange - because it's easy to spot by day or night. I don't know if this product is meant to be serious, but if you can't spot it in an emergency, then that's actually anti-survival lol.
