Its a unique structure and its a concept no one else thought of! My neck of the woods is a dark skies community and if Seth and Tori decided to build their mirror cabins here, it would allow visitors to take full advantage of the unpolluted dark skies here. If it can be built, people will come.

The canvas domes are pretty durable. I was just in Glacier National Park and saw a bunch of duct-taped plastic glamping domes that were unfortunate casualties of the wind, tree branches, animals, etc.

They were able to do this because it’s TN. Anywhere else, especially a state like Californis or Oregon there is absolutely no way to do this without it turning into a bureaucratic nightmare full of red tape. Good for them, this looks amazing!

This is amazing, you can stay in more places like this in Europe specifically in Scandinavian nations. It's crazy how hard the US makes it for these properties to start due to stupid building codes etc. Safety is important but they take it to another political level.

The whole “we don’t do it for the money” facade annoys me. They’re making an excellent product and people are willing to pay for it - there’s nothing wrong with that! I would argue that a $200 upgrade for some pizza ingredients and wine is for the money, and good on em for thinking of it!
