Oliver sun there’s no German u-boat at Pearl Harbor. It was the USS Bowfin, a Balao class fleet boat. I spent many volunteer hours keeping her pretty when my own boat was in drydock.

I have been inside a submarine and it was cramped as hell. I had to get creative with my height to get through the bulkhead doors. I had to turn sideways, put my left leg through, swing my head under, and pull my right leg through.

I’m a former submariner. While I’ve never been on board that class of boat I’m inclined to believe it’s fairly accurate because of the types of detail people would miss if they hadn’t studied the class.

its somewhat accurate. generally they are bit wider and tend to have multiple decks. unless you're thinking something like WW2 era they don't tend to be THAT small. the controls, paneling, etc are fairly accurate but the engineering (engine room) tends to be at the back instead of the middle.

This game is awesome! Unfortunately, I have been on a submarine and it was a small,uncommisioned submarine,and was larger than this nuclear submarine. It was somewhat accurate, but as I have never been working in a working submarine, or have the time or authority to figure out or learn what specific things on any submarine works I'm not sure how accurate where things are placed and why,etc. But overall, very good game!

It looks like a 1950's Guppy conversion of a WWII submarine into an SSK. From what I've seen aboard the USS Silversides (A preserved gato sub) the interior is pretty close.

I once been on a submarine. It's pretty legit For the one who are asking, the submarine is in Canada in the city of rimouski, the submarine named onondaga (or something like that) was once beached on the beach and after it was put on some track to prevent it from falling it became a museum.

Gary, I hope you come back to this game again soon, because the developers released Disassembly VR about a month or so ago! And it looks like they had added some fun stuff to mess around with.
