A couple of observations I had after reviewing this footage were: - It's actually more interesting to stuff a bunch of snow into the snowblower, park it in one place, and watch it "digest" the snow until it finally shoots it all out. - Most of the chunks of ice and snow are broken up from the auger slamming them into the gearbox brace as opposed to chopping them up - The progressive tightening of the auger is what brings the snow towards the center, but the slight inward tilt of the auger is what actually throws the snow into the fan.

Go with the 430. It is a more robust and versatile machine for snow and mowing.
