The only significant reality you need to understand that Cameroonians are doing so so much without the help of government! Our people are resourceful and dynamic! And guess what, this government shall come to pass, nothing lasts forever and if the next government meets the people just halfway then Cameroon will be a completely different country altogether! Just go to Limbe and Buea and even Kumba and see how much construction is going on there in the middle of this anglophone crisis then you will understand just how great our people are

You are correct but we will rather have that private construction than not have it. It's the point I am making. With our lethargic government imagine if the citizens weren't dynamic as well? I have visited African countries where government has put most public infrastructure in place but then the private sector, individuals, are doing very little! Most houses are built by real estate development companies most of which are foreign owned. Neighboring equatorial guinea here is a good example in that regard
