I saw in one of your videos that you preferred cloth to leather seats in your truck and was wondering why. I’d assume it’s based on your specific use case based on what you normally say.

@Drg24800 cloth is predictable and tough. Leather fades, scratches, and stains really bad. As a guy who lives in the woods and is always covered in mud and often chemicals like deet, permethrin etc. Cloth hold up better and my gear does gouge or scuff or scratch it. Also leather seats is always cold or hot u til Temps moderate.

When are they annoucing the 2025s for jeep? Im waiting for them to start showing up on lots and the 2024s being $15k off. Lol

@371kenny pre covid new year models would hit dealer lots around September and October. After covid seems like release dates are all over the board. 25 colorado production doesn't even start until December. No word yet on the gladiator switch over yet. But hopefully soon. 2025 rams have been out already.

Nissan frontier sixth??? I would put the Frontier right behind the Colorado and Canyon. Ranger behind the Frontier. Tacoma should be last and who cares about the Ridgeline.

Covering up the cameras would trigger a fault and constantly nag you with warnings or possibly disable cruise control. For example, the big rigs I've driven have radar cruise and if that radar gets blocked with snow build up or even a plastic bag that gets caught on the bumper, it disabled cruise control and displays warnings on the dash. Even when the sensors wear out or malfunction the computer disables cruise. I guarantee you they'll engineer these systems to make your life a living hell if you disable them.

take a picture from the perspective of the camera..photo shop Ronald MacDonald and papa smurf in front seats and the rest of the looney tunes in the rear...print out a small copy...affix it a few inches in front of the camera...drive as normal.

I guarantee that if you cover the camera insurance won't cover you, but I'll do my dead level best to never own a car with that feature, and find a workaround if I do. This is too much. I do not want to be monitored all the time, everywhere I go, and have everything about my life analyzed and scrutinized by some bureaucratic overlord. I already have a God, I don't need another one.
