I found Chapter 3 of "James and Elena" !! It's a bit short, but here it is: James began to awaken. It is clear to me Lori Vallow was bipolar among other mental illnesses with all the marriages and constantly moving from place to place. Very typical for a charismatic beautiful but mentally ill women to get away with the chaotic life she lived and to be able to fool those around her and her many husbands. Dragging her kids through so much upheaval in their lives. My question is why her family did not step in for the wellfare of her children? To protect them and remove them from the chaos that was their life with her. Was her beauty so blinding? They had to have known she was unstable mentally ?? In all of this we never hear her immediate family respond. Shame on them for not stepping in on behalf of not only Tylee and JJ but her oldest son Colby who lived a chaotic stressful childhood with his mentally ill mother. The entire story is a tragedy.
