Not even John Galliano 'misses' his Dior Collections. GET OVER THEM. There is thrice as much genius and talent in what he does now for Margiela than what he did for Dior. He'd be the first one to admit it. But of course, if you think Dior Couture with Galliano is the height of fashion then you clearly don't understand the first thing about fashion. Typical ignorant 'fashionista'...

He has a personal connection to everything there, which gives an impression of taste. But the pieces themselves wouldn't stand out if they weren't cherished. Real value is created in relationship and it makes me so happy to see someone delight in their own collection as much as Galliano does here 💓

I used to run a nightclub in London and John would come with his enoaurage with a rolled up check book to pay to get in - I would say put it away it was an honor to have them all - he was and still seems to be a beautiful kind and deep person. I was actually think about John Galliano yesterday, for no reason. I was remembering one of his fashion shows that left a big impact on me, and I just took a moment to appreciate the memory of what a moment that was for me to see that show... And then a day later (today) this video pops up in my que. The universe really did give us John because we needed to be wowed.

Thank you most definitely, for this time! 🙏 For me, there is and has been a sense of "knowing" Mr Galiano. Like I've known him in a past somewhere long ago, instant attraction, a longing in my soul. Most glorious man, I carry in my heart ❤

I am fascinated how he speaks to the camera, looking at it directly, and then, while still speaking, his glance seems to focus on something in the distance, but I'm sure he's havng a "vision"...a vision that only he sees and that shapes his words

Best Vogue story ever,. Marvelous. I’ll never forget the Autumn/Winter 2010 haute couture show for Christian Dior. Literally, for me, the most magical collection ever. This house reminds me of it.

He has always been my favourite designer. My jaw dropping show was Spring 2007. Nothing has ever beaten it. It's pure perfection.

Andre Leon Talley would agree with you. I once asked him about inspiration and he named that very show. It is magic.

Brilliant. I could listen to this narrative all day. It makes me realize I have filled my space with objects of affection which stir emotions and memories of when or where I found the object and the narratives I have attached to them that induces creativity. Just wonderful.

I have this real nice military style jacket designed by Galliano, I purchased in Dubai in 96. I still wear it now and whenever I have worn it people absolutely drop their jaws.
