I LOVED haggling in Dubai. It came so naturally to me. We would haggle in teams. That way the person NOT buying seems disinterested and anxious to leave. The person buying is haggling and when the last price is given the wingman says, “let’s go, I saw the same thing at another shop down the street”. Worked 100% of the time! 👍

You honestly have no clue about the evils in dubai FYI, the gold is cheap because it's very soft. 14k gold is much stronger and much better with jewelry

Thanks for visiting this historic place! I was in Dubai around 1993 and the experience was amazing! The people were way beyond kind to me and I would love to go back years later! The awesome thing was when I gave them one Durham to cross the harbor it was valued at about 27 US cents and seems that it’s roughly the same many years later! That definitely amazes me!
