It's the end of an era. Ellen DeGeneres signed off from her daytime talk show, 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show,' for the last time on Thursday after 19 seasons. The final episode kicked off with a signature Ellen monologue, where she got emotional talking about the impact the show had on her life.

So true. i knew just by occasionally watching the show that her attitude changed or something like she was stuck up unless it was an A list celeb. So i hadnt watched her for long time but i felt the sincerity and love in her message.

I've watched Ellen since the first day of her Talk show. I honestly think she got burnt out after awhile and that effected how she treated people. I believe that she means what she says about wanting to make people happy through her comedy and show. For a long time watching Ellen really did brighten my day so Thank you Ellen.

Its sure a shame that this show hasn't changed her for the better. I always liked her bc she was so down to earth & humble, but now w all the things I've read about her terrible treatment of her staff & guests, ive lost a lot of respect for her. She would even not allow her staff to look her in the eye & she was rude to several guests. Like I said, sad the fame went to her head

Shame on you for leaving kids to die in schools with your corrupt senate that can do nothing to prevent kids from being killed tomorrow in another public school? In the eyes of the world, you are a complete joke having a president aiding ukraine to keep fighting the war instead of bringing diplomacy and talks of peace when he cannot protect his own country.

I liked her Christmas editions and each time the show did charity and make others cry out of happiness and her witty conversations. Now, you've so much time in your hands to reflect interiorly how much you have really loved the people you have worked with and make amends. Off with the public and on with the private life.
