Take a trip inside Elvis Presley House located on 1034 Audubon Drive, Memphis TN. Because of the big interest for my first short video, I have extended this one with more footage.
It's a one-story ranch style house in a residential neighborhood in Memphis, Tennessee. Singer Elvis Presley lived here with his parents between March 1956 and March 1957, before moving to Graceland. This video is recorded in January 2005. #Elvis #ElvisPresley #atalkaboutelvis

The fireplace you see @ 4:09 is still in the house to this day. But the inside has been reshaped with some walls removed but then some added. The pool in the backyard has been filled in and tiled over although you can still clearly see its outline. The building in the backyard is also still there. The large trees currently in the front yard are trees that Vernon planted just before they moved to Graceland.

Stig, I know it was all destroyed inside by a fire. But was that all or mostly the original furniture and everything from 1956-1957 including the walls?

Yes. Back then they kept most of it original.

Look for other videos on youtube. I think the whole house is being remodeled, and has been gutted. I think that's sad. They should've made it into a museum honoring the Presley's. I love nostalgic places. Thank you to the channel for this great video. So glad I got to see the inside before they destroyed it. ❤
