I had the pleasure of meeting him personally some 30 or so years ago at the Hotel Raphael in Rome where a few top designers were finalising preparations for a major fashion show. He was so simple and charming despite being at the head of an industrial empire. What a lovely man.

One of the very few REAL fashion designers, grazie Mr. Armani! Minutes 7:12, 9:14, 21:07 are very true. I don't think the reporter was the best choice to do the interview, at least they should bilingual to allow for a more interesting dynamic and relaxed dialogue instead of what seems to be as if a sort of connection is lost.

Personally I am not a huge fan of Armani products and I think his way of doing clothes is a bit conservative but I also think he is a great man that made most amazing empire and for that he is to be respected. Thank you for this great video that reminded me once again how great "zio Giorgio" really is.

Mr. Jacket the legendary Armani the man with flying eagle, a solid rock standing still with his sharp designs, never went street cheap like the high end brands who serve low end demand! It’s a shame that his business isn’t as good as it was 10 years ago, the audience have turned into a bum style like, sport street. Real men wears suits and he is the best suit artist ever existed. Big respect to the legend

The interviewer is rude... especially at around 19:20. "When the day comes when you are no longer able to run the business..." sounds like he assumes it true; also he sounds like I'm an "entrepreneur too and thus can understand you," which I think why some said he's pompous.

If you listen to him with your life if you look into his eyes with your life if you can hear what he says with your life forces then you will understand what is trying to tell you for example that this industry also stole his life as well it gave it to him but it also it took something it's really beautiful the way he speaks

i hate how imran interviews people, it pisses me off, I can't quite put my finger on how/why, maybe its his way of delivering his speech or something, it's very teacher like and not very open, he needs to work on that, good interview otherwise

J32515 I quite agree with that, the way he's sitting on the edge on the chair almost, and leaning towards him, the way he's delivering the questions are quite irritating. A more relaxed open way of asking to make it more of a natural interview and not bullet points questions would be a lot better. However, like you said, the interview is great in general.
