Thank you for the great tour! I really appreciate it as I won't get the chance to go. When Jimi found out that Handel had once lived there, he thought it was possible his spirit was still there and went out and bought Handel's Messiah. The rolled up rugs on the side of the bed was because Hendrix loved Antique Persian Rugs and would switch them out from time to time.

Man !! The large wood speakers for the sound system are the exact style of speakers that were given to me by a guy who provided my first guitar amplifier, a 50W HIWATT ..... which completely destroyed the speakers .... !

I was Hendrix crazy when I was young. Still am. I remember the day in art class when we got the news he had died. There was total silence. Upon his death, Janis Joplin said "I'm next" and unfortunately she was, just a month later. Check out his interview on The Dick Cavett Show. He was extremely intelligent and, unlike his image and stage persona, seems very shy and modest. He was a good guy. Great vlog Jordan.

We had a music teacher who introduced us to Hendrix 7 th grade. I couldn’t get to class fast enough. I ended up buying Jimi Hendrix’s greatest hits. I’m 64 Jordan

Thank you for this. I visited the house last month for the first time, despite being a Hendrix fan since the age of nine. I would recommend it to anyone interested in music and history, and especially to those with a penchant for these two geniuses. Both were brilliant composers and performers, both changed the face of music, and both came from foreign climes to London (Jimi from the US, Handel - or Händel, to use the original spelling of his name - from Germany to London. As an Englishman, this video also makes me homesick.

Paul Allen here in Washington, is a huge Hendrix fan. AT the EMP, which is now called something else, he has a room dedicated to Jimmy. He collects everything he can get. Jimmy sister is executor of Jimmy's estate and she buys up everything she can of his. Another great podcast!

Handel... A German who loved Italian Opera! Love his work! The Harpsichord is beautiful! Wow what a colorful bed he had. Jimi’s flat is awesome very cool of Kathy to do this. Wonder what he thought going through the stairs and hallway of Handel being “neighbors”. Think of all the music coming out of the windows!! Thank you for this 🦁❤️ loving all this wonderful travel!

"FANTASTIC" vlog!! 😁 Both flats are equally as impressive!! Records!!! Jimi was ahead of his time so I think he would have dug digital and would have utilized it to further create sounds that his fans would listen to and say "how did he do that' ! Gandals grand piano is the most. beautiful grand piano I have ever seen!! The portraits of him paint a man of vibrancy and very present in the moment. I'll have to do a google search on him!! Look forward to your next vlog

Wow two of music's best composers. So loved the era of Jimi Hendrix. Not sure why it is by everytime I open a vlog by Jordan I know I'm going to learn something I didn't know before. Great footage Jordan! I think hands down my favourite album by Hendrix was Electric Ladyland. Please say hi to that great four legged critter, Jah, for me when you get home. I wonder if he watches you on the internet when you're away?

Those times were so outstanding and many of us realize it was going to be a small time in history that would be remembered. We knew we were lucky to be living it. The 1st time I heard his music was in Mpls, MN in 1969, and I was 19. Wondering around Mpls and St. Paul was so much fun.

I’m not surprised Jimmy had a collection of Handel he must have studied classical music to hone in his artistry. Jimmy’s mind for music was well beyond genius for sure. That hifi stereo and dial phone are memories of my childhood. Great vlog Jordan be safe and be well.

Great to hear the tale of the jacket at the kirk nightclub, Yarm is my home town my dad and auntie actually meet hendrix in a late night cafe on the High Street hendrix came in went to the Dukebox checked to see if any of his songs were on it, I got to go in the kirk a couple of times before it was knocked down, following in the footsteps of a legend, have a great trip Jordan, love your vlogs

What a pretty interesting history lesson! I enjoyed seeing and hearing about Handel. I didn't know very much about him. I especially liked the Hendrix experience. At first I kept noticing all of the feathers then I realized a lot of Native American touches and it made sense. And lucky you got to sit on Hendrix's bed!! Great vlog!

Wow, Jordan that was really awesome! Just imagine the music out on the street that came from Handel's piano room! Jimi's apartment was so interesting, kind of homey in a very cool way, not the dark edge of a rockstar that I would have imagined, it was so cool! Neat mix of old and new buildings on one street. The Queen will be opening for Drake any day now. LOL (just kidding). How beautiful is the inside of that harpsichord? Just awesome. Beautiful jacket of Jimi's. Great music collection he had. Gorgeous bedroom. My dad has a coffee mug just like the one here in Jimis room. I love the box with the shells on it. Great post cards. Great museum. I'm glad you took us. Great vlog. Lots of information. Can't wait to see where we end up tomorrow.

Unbelievable en u got to sit on his bed Jordan what a major .The smoke butts hand written voo doo lyrics the boots tha jacket blacken white post cards.Its almost like hes jus stepped out 4 the dae. Wow!!! u stepped the floor of 2 G8Z frm 2 different eras. I get so happy en chuffed 4 u 2 do these things especially. U vlog history 4 us an its rad 2 share in momments like this. Daze with Jordan the Lion I need to remember that the uk does have some cool music houses etc other than the Beatles! By the way - did you know you can visit John and Paul’s childhood homes now in Liverpool? They’re owned by the National trust and was where they lived when The Beatles got famous. Very very surreal standing in Lennon’s bedroom and the tour guides are brilliant with info.
