There are many people out there that get confused/misled on football is about by getting stuck in statistics, budgets, etc. When you love football, you love *watching* (and playing!) it. You love the emotions it brings up, the inspiration you draw from it. Messi is a magical, pure footballing genius. His football is not flamboyant, but it's beautiful in the way the work from Leonardo Da Vinci, Monet, Mozart, Beethoven and others are. You need to understand the sport to truly appreciate Messi. And if you don't know football that well yet, there is no better way to ease yourself into what a sport played as an art form could be than watching Lionel Messi play.

It is for sure a special sport, and it does unite people from all over the world.

A agree that MLS needs to start taking breaks for FIFA windows and tournaments like Copa America, which is being held in the United States and will include not only the 10 South American teams but also 6 from CONCACAF, including USA, Canada, Mexico, Jamaica, Costa Rica and Panama. Most fans will be interested in the Copa games and many MLS teams will be missing key players during that month.

@@Youafool500 This edition of Copa America is organized by both Conmebol and Concacaf. The Concacaf countries who made it to the tournament were USA, Canada, Mexico and Jamaica, and earned their place due to their results in the Concacaf Nations League. If they don't take it seriously, they should, this is the best practice in international competitions that national teams will have before the next world cup.

True, I have been supportive of Callender because of the early goals they have conceded, most were not really his fault. Two were, the rest were not. He is not dominating as he was last year, but partly because with so much talent now the team doesn't need goalkeeper heroics as much to keep them in games. Overall, though, a good keeper.
