HGTV star Leanne Ford knows a thing or two about renovating. When she approached her latest project, her own home in Pittsburgh, PA, her goal was to keep it simple. Ford's first order of business, after replacing the plumbing and electrical? Drenching the entire midcentury house in her signature shade of paint (PPG's Pure White). From there, she filled the home with sculptural furniture that doubled as art and plenty of natural elements. Above, Ford gives us an exclusive tour of her home and a look at her favorite details. My home is very similar. For those of you with families, that you worry about the all white, I have leather couches instead of white and this aesthetic still works. And it doesn't have to be modern style. I have a French/English cottage style, and I painted all of my frilly frames white. It still works.

Loved it! The white palette,are enhancing the view of the gorgeous trees outside visible thru the massive glass doors. Imagine,being in Pittsburg that the snow in the winter is equally impactful.Enjoyed natural feel,wood and white👍🏽

I love it very much. White and white and more white combined with light wooden floors and furniture. Love the master bedroom, the lights above the kitchen island. This home has a Greek island boutique hotel feeling. The black steel doors are an eye catcher. Breathtaking. But definitely a home for adults.

Yess! Humble simplicity, like a stage for living and breathing. A wonderful piece is the armature above this white tub, so adorable and impressing. And the biggest of all Wowzers for me is Leanne herself in the middle of all of this. I LOVE her free spirit, her power and her sweetness :)))

I love Leanne's work, and there is a lot I love about this home. I adore white walls, but I don't think I've ever seen a home with both white walls and white floors that I have liked. I just don't like the feeling that the rooms don't seem grounded when the floors are also white. Maybe it's just personal taste, because I don't often see anyone else make the same comment.
