I love this scene because both you and Llewyn hear how ridiculous it sounds, but then you hear the studio polish and it actually sounds catchy as hell. I think that's so apt when it comes to entertainment production as a whole, music and film especially.

The best part is how he hates the Kennedy song...but then sings about a Queen in the end. you could interpret that 10 different ways. (Kennedy and Lady Jane both died tragically) This movie is basically Leaving Las Vegas with guitars.

KingoffKentucky This is arguably one of the weaker songs from the film, but it is also the only song written for the film. Thus, if one could win Best Original Song, it would be this one.

excellent movie. it really showcases the talents of all three of the these guys but Oscar Isaac - sick. He sings/plays folk music with the best of them. Major props to this guy. makes me wish i could find a time machine and transport myself back to the Village in the early 60s.
